@IanSterlingXXX@invinciblerubbr I placed an order with them on March 24th, they shipped it yesterday, and it arrived on my doorstep this morning. Invincible is on the ball lately and has me incredibly impressed!
@BullyBarrett Fun fact, ad insertion signals like that still exist, but with the advent of digital broadcasting and IP based networks the ad insertion signal doesn’t show up on the visible picture anymore.
@BullyBarrett It’s so that broadcasters know when to do ad insertion in the broadcast… the live station or recorded program would just cut to black or colour bars, and the local broadcaster would insert ads when they saw that signal.
Growth is not a goal of every kink event - turns out smaller events of ~200-250 people are really awesome!
That reason why it's awesome starts to sting later on when you have more people who want to attend than you have space for. Growing would take away what makes it special.
@thedieselshep From what I understand, Rebellion is more of a kinksters side-project/hobby than a “business”. They pretty regularly miss their deadlines and communicate poorly.
PSA: Play safe, Play sane, Play with others!
No matter how elaborate a scene is, you reduce potential risk tremendously by simply playing with someone else.
I'm not posting this to complain - I love what I do and the happiness that I'm able to bring people at these special events more than makes up for the negative...
Rather, just remember there's humans running these things, and they might be your friends. Go easy on them.
Running kink events is hard on the organizers in ways you probably wouldn't think of.
A recent struggle: avoiding certain friends around registration because you know they didn't get what they wanted, and want to avoid a conflict or feeling like you let them down.
