The shittiest job about being a CTO is, for sure, the security theater. For example, to get access to certain @googlecloud scopes, you need to pass a CASA Tier 2... which is basically a glorified zap scanner that cost thousands of $.

@googlecloud Security theater... reminds me of security in grocery stores in Asia (Manila, to be exat) that had a shotgun with no trigger (and no shells).
@googlecloud About that CASA Tier 2.. one of the provider is TAC Security... and once you pay the bill, you can't add members of your team on that platform. You're forced to share login + OTP manually. It's a security platform ๐
@kentcdodds@AdamRackis I used to love graphql. I think it solves a beautiful problem (1 backend, multiple frontend, different views). However, in the age of llm, I don't think it has its place anymore.
@JustDeezGuy Agreed.. Also in the age of LLM, kubernetes is way simpler since everything is text and stored in git, there's no UI involved. Create the cluster and you're good to go.
Quick! Let's try to find which Brookfield company will benefit from attempting to shoot rockets so far from the equator, using net-zero carbon fuel ๐
Today, we introduced the Canadian Space Launch Act. ๐จ๐ฆ
This legislation will deliver sovereign space launch capabilities to Canada and help create a new $40 billion space launch industry in Canada.
Weโve reached the moon, but now we can launch Canadian rockets from home.
Canadians love E-transfert, but forgets the fact that
1) it's third party (interac corporation)
2) it's pretty easy to accomplish because we only have a handful of banks...
I love E-transfert myself, but using that to bash and "win points" America is very silly.
