Trump is literally making stuff up again. He stands on a stage in Davos telling the world he’s brokered a "security framework" for Greenland, and his own top general says, "We found out about it when everyone else did when it hit the news yesterday."

Since U.S. General Alexus G. Grynkewich is both a top U.S. General and a NATO commander, Trump's "deal" talk is a betrayal of his own officers.

It’s pathetic. Trump is putting Grynkewich in an impossible spot. You’ve got a four-star general having to essentially call his Commander-in-Chief a liar in front of the international press just to maintain an ounce of NATO's credibility. It’s a total circus.
