@Locutus_666 @Paddy_Barrett I do both. I live in Switzerland so lots of hills. My heart rate never gets over 135 biking. Running it gets to 160 sometimes. But of course I can’t run for 3 hrs, either. Short, hi-intensity running is quite different than long biking w elevated but not really high heart rate
@leftnotlabour I think Iran of all countries can hardly complain if other countries don’t treat their embassies as sacrosanct. They are after all the ones who took over the US Embassy in their country in 1979 & held its workers hostage for 444 days. Turnabout is fair play.
@RnaudBertrand You seem to forget Iran taking over the US Embassy in 1979 and holding 53 US Embassy employees hostage for 444 days. But maybe that’s OK since they didn’t bomb it.
@MoodyHikmet@CyHollander @erupton @BriannaWu So what should they have done? If they’d left everyone in place, you’d complain because more people would’ve died. If they move them out of harm’s way, you complain that they’re “displacing” people. You just want Israel not to respond to an enemy committed to “obliterate” them.
@Dplanet@leekern13 You fail to notice how many HUNDREDS of Hamas terrorists were in Shifra, how they were storing weapons there & using it for a headquarters, a direct war crime. But sure, let’s hold Israel to international standards & their opponents to NO standards at all!
@leekern13 Not to mention, you never even hear the best! Have you noticed all the ink devoted to those aid workers who died in an Israeli attack…vs the amount on the fact that there were HUNDREDS of Hamas terrorists at Shifra Hospital? The press only reports on negatives for Israel.
@CeilNoyle@Mr_Andrew_Fox Even using Hamas’s ridiculous figures, which include combatants & natural deaths, about 1.4% of the population of Gaza has died. Since when does killing 1.4% amount to genocide? And boy is the IDF incompetent if they’re trying for genocide but this is all they can do in 5 months.
@thestustustudio What these two are saying doesn’t make any sense. It’s like a left-wing version of a Trump rant, just random buzzword strung together.
@binishahmed@TorontoPolice The odd thing is that praying in the road is actually forbidden under Islam. These people claim to be observant but are actually insulting Islam. https://t.co/TGR9SokzUC
@liquidizer@DavidGHFrost@UKHouseofLords Hamas can stop it whenever they want by surrendering & releasing the hostages. But they don’t even tho they have no hope of winning. Their strategy is to allow the bodies to pile up so “useful idiots” like you put pressure on Israel to stop the war & allow them to survive.
@1Storyteller Clip-ons, if you can find them. Otherwise you’ll have to get a pair of prescription sunglasses, which are expensive. I never had any. I just used clip-ons, but they’ve gone out of style and are hard to find nowadays. Some glasses come w their own clip-ons.
@naturebased21 @VerminusM Even using Hamas’s grossly exaggerated casualty figures, which include combatants killed & natural deaths, about 1.4% of the population of Gaza has died. Since when does killing 1.4% amount to “genocide”? Don’t words have meaning any more?
@nowun_ @DocZary @melissaeweiss How do you expect Israel to negotiate with an opponent like that? Who has pledged not just to defeat but to “obliterate” Israel? https://t.co/TWGjLhP9PR
@nowun_ @DocZary @melissaeweiss (Hamas) “aspires to the realisation of Allah's promise…’The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when…The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.” IE kill all the Jews
@bbrayshay @nicolelampert So far about 1.4% of the population of Gaza has died, according to Hamas’ own doubtful figures. That includes Hamas terrorists plus natural deaths. So tell me: in what dictionary does killing 1.4% of the population qualify as “genocide”?
