A decade after leaving the EU, this Government is still letting Brussels tell us what to do.
They're going to ban traditional tumble dryers - not because they think that it's best for the British people, but because they're desperate to keep the EU happy.
It’s pathetic.
Andy Burnham must not appoint Ed Miliband to any position of power, as that would hinder Burnham’s ability to fix Starmer’s catastrophic mishandling of Britain’s economy
We were told that 1.5C of warming would result in 90% of coral reefs dying.
That projection came directly from the IPCC and was dutifully amplified by activist outlets like the Guardian.
But we have already reached 1.5C, according to official data sets, and a mass die-off has not occurred.
Coral reefs not only still exist, but they are thriving. The Great Barrier Reef has registered record coral cover in recent years, according to surveys by Australian Institute of Marine Science.
Here again we have a dire apocalyptic climate warning that failed to come anywhere near the reality.
Starmer sacks Louise Haigh after discovering she's a convicted criminal. Burnham's going to make her a Secretary of State even though she's a convicted criminal. Great, isn't it? Welcome to the wonderful world of Westminster...
If Andy Burnham becomes PM, will he lower taxes, support business, get a grip of immigration, deportation and welfare, and will he properly fund law enforcement and the military?
Of course he won’t, he’ll be another @UKLabour socialist tax and spend disaster.
The cackhanded pursuit of Net Zero by Ed Miliband and his predecessors has left Britain having to pay France and other countries to take excess power off our hands for a significant part of the year. https://t.co/KYdUPnmjDM
Jeremy Clarkson has given an update on his prostrate cancer:
"Hello everyone. Now the more observant amongst you would have noticed that I'm not dead, and I'm not just not dead, I'm perfectly fine. My eyebrows in particular are looking very lustrous.
And the reason why I'm fine is because the doctor caught the prostate cancer early, and they caught it early because, I got tested.
Now I know a lot of you will say, 'Eww, I don't want to be tested because it means someone will have to put their finger in me,' but it's just a blood test these days.
And if you go to your doctor and he says, 'Well I'm not going to test you because you don't have any symptoms and you're not in a high risk category,' just lie. Say you've got symptoms. Say that you have to get up 32 times in the night for a wee and there's some dribbling.
Because look, 10, 12 thousand people, men to be honest, die every year in the UK from prostate cancer. Don't be one of them. Get tested."
Glad you are well Jeremy and sharing this message!! @JeremyClarkson
Burnham wants to se the re-industrialisation of the north he says.
Well Andy, you better sack Miliband because no industry is coming to the north with our electricity prices
You paid in for forty years. Never missed a day you could help. Never took a penny you hadn't earned.
And this is the country they handed you back.
Four million people now on sickness benefit. Half a million of them under thirty, signed off before they ever clocked a single shift.
Your taxes don't build roads anymore. They don't fix the hospital you wait eight months to be seen in. They go to a bill so big the government now spends more keeping people unwell than it raises from every wage in the land.
And when that runs short, they print. And the few quid you saved buys less every year to plug a hole you never dug.
You did everything right.
They did everything wrong.
And somehow it is you left with nothing.
This is Paul Powlesland. He is facing prosecution by the Environment Agency for pulling rubbish out of a local river without a licence.
The 40-year-old barrister and a group of volunteers took matters into their own hands to clear a section of the River Roding in Barking, East London.
The group hired a digger for £1,000 and filled over 200 bags of rubbish, but after the clean-up, Paul received a letter from the Environment Agency notifying him he was under investigation for operating without a licence.
The offence carries a maximum punishment of two years in prison, and he could also lose his job.
Oops.
So not only do they cost 10 times more than gas boilers to install, they cost more to run too!
Why would any sane person even think of having one?

The best thing a new PM could do is to remove Mr Miliband from Energy and out of the Treasury. His rip off energy prices, huge net zero costs and wish to close down all UK fossil fuels closes many factories. It sends big tax payments abroad as we switch to imports.
Heat pumps will push up energy bills, Labour report finds -Energy Secretary previously claimed net zero technology would save households ‘hundreds of pounds a year’

🚨BREAKING: MAKERFIELD - REFORM UK IS PUSHING UP THE GAP
FINAL IN-DEPTH PREDICTION & ANALYSIS:
➡️ Reform UK: 43–45%
💔 Labour: 42–44%
🥶 Restore Britain: 5–7%
🥸 Others: 5–8%
This is no longer a safe Labour seat. It is a genuine battleground.
If Reform supporters turn out in force, and if even a small number of undecided and Restore voters rally behind the strongest challenger to Labour, Makerfield could deliver one of the biggest political shocks of 2026.
With polling day now upon us, the political establishment is becoming increasingly nervous. While most published polls still place Labour narrowly ahead, the trend beneath the headlines tells a very different story.
Just two years ago, Labour held Makerfield comfortably. Today, Reform UK has transformed the constituency into one of the closest contests in Britain. Recent local elections saw Reform dominate across Makerfield’s key wards, demonstrating that support on the ground is far stronger than Westminster insiders expected. (The Sun)
The latest polling places Labour in the mid-40s and Reform in the low mid-40s, well within striking distance. Several surveys show a gap of only three to five points, meaning a modest late swing could put Reform ahead. (Opinium)
The biggest factor may be Restore Britain. Polls suggest Restore is attracting around 7–8% of voters, many of whom previously backed Reform. If even a portion of those voters decide that defeating Labour is the priority, the race becomes effectively neck-and-neck. (Mark Pack)
What should encourage Reform supporters most is that this election is no longer about party loyalty. It is about change. Across Makerfield, voters are expressing frustration over immigration, the cost of living, public services, and feeling ignored by Westminster. Reform has become the vehicle for that change. (The Guardian)
Tomorrow, every vote matters. So GO OUT AND MAKE YOUR VOICE COUNT!
Hold on a minute this can’t be true? … because Mad Ed promised Aberdeen a ‘green jobs revolution’ so they must be better off now right?
Er no! Ed said some erm misinformation.
Aberdeen is falling apart, huge job losses in the highly paid oil and gas sectors, with no equivalent job gains, which means every single sector even investment is on its knees. Households are poorer & poverty has increased.
Ahhh but if it totally collapses they’ll be net zero right? 🤡
