@JohnWakefieId (did Hanania ever offer a mea culpa for all the ugly racist stuff or did he just start posting as a centrist lib one day hoping no one would notice?)
@no_earthquake just now realized that Anna Khachiyan and Ana Kasparian are actually two different people, was wondering why the Dimes Square lady was on CNN with semi-reasonable takes
@BenjaminCrew1 Dilbert had a decent run early on but it’s noticeable exactly when Adams lost his ability to be funny- he started empathizing with the pointy-haired boss, who stopped being portrayed as an out-of-touch shmoe and morphed into the misunderstood smartest guy in the room.
@_coenen@nsthorat lots of people are at this stage and are ready to do “something”, they just don’t know what that something is when the government is willing to impose collective punishment.
@ArmandDoma@sephius1999 this is a really useless argument to have as their reasoning was pretty dumb. She's not above criticism and neither are they. "Better races/paces to spend your money" is fine, "don't waste your money on her because she's well-defined" is "wishing for a magic pony" governing.
@the_transit_guy DC has 12 "business improvement districts" where the businesses pay an extra tax that covers street cleaning and whatnot; downtown/CBD/golden triangle is probably the biggest and most active one.
@PCALive so many people are just extra stupid and stubborn right now across every mode of transportation, the type of guy who runs a red in a 4+ lane intersection isn't going to absorb any sort of instructional brochure or video
