@timbearder @ElectionMapsUK If the County council becomes a unitary, it would simply absorb the functions of the districts on day 1. Not sure why you would need a shadow council or new elections, as surely you'd just end up with the same councillors representing the same areas.

@Nigel_Farage It was a minor offence for which the MAXIMUM sentence is six months. As she pleaded guilty and it was a first offence she was never going to get that. Nothing 2 tier about it, that's the way the justice system works.
