Residents are informed that multiple wildfires have broken out in the area, with the largest spanning over 100 acres in Salem, MA. Firefighters have been battling a large brush fire off Highland Ave in Salem throughout the night. Due to the dry and breezy conditions, the risk of wildfire spread is significantly elevated, and residents are advised to exercise extreme caution when handling any materials that could potentially spark a fire.

Members participated in the annual New Hampshire 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, climbing 110 flights of stairs at Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, NH. 100% of proceeds are donated directly to the National Firefighters Foundation. This foundation supports Fallen Firefighters,
was able to successfully extricate the victim. The homeowner was inside at the time of the incident, they did not sustain any major injuries. Members stabilized the vehicle and secured the scene with no major injuries reported.

At 18:32 E2, E1, L1, C2 were dispatched to 20 Kimball St. for reports of a vehicle into a building. E2 was in the area, returning to the station from another call, and arrived first on scene at 7 Kimball St. E2 identified an SUV into the building with a trapped occupant and…
The @MaldenFire Memorial at Forest Dale Cemetery has been reconstructed but what it stands for remains the same which is a tribute to the spirit, courage and dedication of all Firefighters past and present. This was made possible thanks to the Bayrd Foundation and @MaldenTrees.
Members conducted a thorough exterior and interior inspection of the home and determined there was no major structural damage or immediate danger to the residents.
National Grid will be working throughout the city today continuing to restore power to residents.

At approximately 2356 last night E4, E2, L1 and C2 responded to the area of 42-44 Springdale St. for a downed tree into a home. Members arrived on scene to a large tree uprooted from the sidewalk and resting on a house, affecting live power lines and multiple vehicles.

Great day training #QuincyFireTrainingAcademy recruits with our MetroFire Mutual Aid partners from @maldenfire . Grateful for the opportunity to train together in their community and learn from each other.
(2/2) Evolutions consisted of supplying multiple hose lines, operating master stream devices and augmenting. MFD will train on various skills and tasks on a daily basis to ensure firefighters are proficient, confident and prepared to perform their duties during an emergency.

Earlier today Engine Co. 2 and Engine Co. 3 (using spare Engine 6) conducted a joint training exercise on Canal St. The evolutions consisted of numerous pumping operations and methods to improve fireground water supply capability.
