This demonstrates a desire for rapid growth at the expense of others' work (the actors, the production team, and the community itself). This is often perceived as a lack of respect for the original fandom and the content creators.
The seriousness of the matter lies in the fact that it's not just common spam, but a direct provocation of the fandom's identity by deliberately mixing rival ships.
Using the name and success of Blank The Series (which legally belongs to FayeYoko's partner) to promote the FayeAtom label is disrespectful on two levels:
Algorithmic manipulation: They are piggybacking on an established trend to force visibility on a pairing unrelated to the series.
Conflict of interest: It breaks the community's code of conduct, generating immediate backlash by attempting to impose a new pairing on the story and cast that built the original success. This action demonstrates how the desire for visibility can fragment and create toxicity within a single community of fans.
