Shahid Baqaei Hospital, a children's cancer treatment centre in Ahvaz, was evacuated last night after the US attacked a nearby location.

This barbaric attack, reminiscent of Israel’s atrocities against healthcare facilities, caused severe suffering and anxiety upon the hospitalized children, and forced the emergency evacuation of 211 patients undergoing chemotherapy.

This constitutes a cowardly war crime against the most innocent of human beings — children who are bravely fighting for their lives.

Those who ceaselessly preach human rights, yet deliberately turn a blind eye to the targeting of hospitals and health centers, have forfeited every shred of moral credibility.

This alarms me and it should alarm every American, Republican, democrat or independent.

The fact that President Trump has recently chosen to rebrand Mamdani’s political party — Democratic Socialists — as a “communist“ and now this declaration to go after “radical left terrorism“ makes very clear that the White House is declaring American citizens as the enemy, and probably will start taking action against them.

Once this happens, the chances of sparking, a Civil War explode, and we will all be losers.

Sudan has been completely devastated by the genocide perpetrated by the RSF in ways that have changed its demography and geography perhaps forever. Among the results:

1) The war is estimated to have killed about 200,000 people and displaced more than 11 million, which the UN calls the world's largest humanitarian crisis.

2) Entire areas have emptied out. The starkest example is Khartoum itself. Once the crowded heart of the country, entire districts became ghost towns during the fighting. In Darfur, cities like El Geneina and El Fasher saw massacres and mass migration.

3) Towns in states like Gezira, Sennar, the River Nile, and the east, plus regional hubs like Kassala and el-Obeid, took in huge numbers and are now vastly overcrowded creating serious problems.

4) Throughout the country, the conflict has collapsed infrastructure and disrupted essential services, with mounting warnings of worsening food and medicine shortages and little hope of resolution.

The genocide is in its fourth year. This nation is on the verge of collapse. This is all happening because other countries are cutting up the country to take its resources. The UAE and Ethiopia are not being held accountable despite feeding the RSF war machine that is causing this devastation.
