Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman Supreme Council, MQI, visited Minhaj Cultural Center Kløfta. Members and designators are gathered to warmly welcome them. During the visit, the distinguished guests were given a guided tour of Minhaj Cultural Center Kløfta, and office bearers and contributors in Kløfta had the opportunity to introduce themselves to Shaykh-ul-Islam.
Shaykh-ul-Islam offered guidance on the upbringing of children and emphasized the importance of the active role of parents. He pointed out that many children today are largely shaped by three central factors: social media, school, and society. It was further highlighted that the home has increasingly been reduced to merely a place for overnight stay, as parents are often occupied with work and participate less in the upbringing of their children, leaving this responsibility largely to these three influencing factors.
In conclusion, Shaykh-ul-Islam made dua for Minhaj Cultural Center Kløfta, praying for increased progress and blessings for the center, as well as for all those who contribute to building and strengthening it as an important institution in society, and for everyone who participates in its activities.
The visit was hosted by Minhaj Cultural Center Kløfta, including Asif Javed (President), Rizwan ul Haq (General Secretary), Imran Aslam (Vice President), Kamran Zaman (Vice President), Tanseer Malik (Welfare), Zameer Butt (Building Coordinator), Safdar Ali (Imam), and Nasir Ali Awan (Imam).
Kløfta also received a visit from the national leadership, including Awais Ejaz Ahmed Warraich (President), Hassan Bashir (General Secretary), Zartash Bashir (Vice President), Ata-ul-Mustafa Mahmood (Deputy Secretary), and Atif Rauf (Finance Secretary).
Other participants included Ameer-e-Tehreek Afzal Ansari, Chaudhry Mushtaq (Rabita Committee), Allama Iqbal Fani (Director, Minhaj-ul-Quran International Norway), Allama Sadaqat Ali (Principal, Minhaj School), Dr. Nazia Batool, and Ibrahim Malik (Marketing and Finance, Minhaj Youth).

The Impact of Thoughts and the States of the Heart
A person’s thoughts, inner states, and actions, in reality, shape the condition of their inner self. When one’s thinking is pure, intentions are sincere, and actions are righteous, light, tranquility, and purity begin to fill the heart. Such enlightened thoughts elevate a person’s character and draw them closer to the Divine. Conversely, when thoughts become corrupt, intentions are flawed, and actions are harmful, darkness and gloom begin to overshadow the heart. In this way, a person’s inner being becomes a mirror of their own thoughts and deeds, reflecting their true reality.

His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman Supreme Council, MQI, and Dr. Ghazala Qadri, President MWL International, participated in a meeting with the Women’s Forum and female leads of MQI Norway. Office bearers were given the opportunity to introduce themselves before the session commenced with Qur’an recitation by Farah Batool from Minhaj Halqa-e-Durood, followed by a nasheed presented by sisters from various forums under the leadership of Anjum Butt, Minhaj Halqa-e-Durood.
The theme of the day focused on our understanding of religion and how we practice it. Shaykh-ul-Islam emphasized that Islam is not limited to temporary rituals but is a lifelong practice that should shape every aspect of life. His Eminence noted that many people today practice religion in a seasonal manner, which creates a distance between faith and daily life.
His Eminence further explained that religion should become a natural part of our thinking, actions, and environment, rather than something separated from everyday life. Just as societal rules provide freedom within limits, religion also grants freedom within defined boundaries.
It was further highlighted that religion is about discipline and structure rather than restriction. A lack of consistent religious practice has led to identity challenges, particularly among youth. Therefore, the role of parents is crucial, and religious initiatives must focus on developing lasting values so that faith becomes a natural part of life.
During the program, shields were also presented to office bearers who demonstrated outstanding performance, including: Sameen Shabbir (Finance Secretary), Saira Nisar (Minhaj Women Forum, Kløfta), Iqra Ejaz Ahmed and Khadijah Mahmood (Learning and Development). Several sisters from different forums were also awarded diplomas in recognition of their contributions.
Among the participants were Sameen Shabbir (Deputy Finance Secretary, NEC), Nazia Batool (President, MHD Norway and President, MWL Europe), Samina Ishaq (President, MWL Oslo), Saira Nisar (President, MWL Kløfta), Halima Siddique (President, MWL Drammen), Iqra Mushtaq Khan (President, MS), Ayesha Khan (President, MDF), Iqra Ejaz Ahmed (Lead, Learning and Development), and Nazima Ansari (Lead, Marketing and Social Media).
Members of the NEC leadership of MQI Norway were also present, including Awais Ejaz (President), Zartash Bashir (Vice President), Hassan Bashir (General Secretary), Atif Rauf (Finance Secretary), and Ata-ul-Mustafa Mahmood (Deputy Secretary).

His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman Supreme Council, MQI, and Dr. Ghazala Qadri visited Central Jamaat-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat Oslo today to offer the Friday prayer. The prayer was led by Shaykh Syed Nehmat Ali Shah, Imam of Central Jamaat-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat.
Following the Friday prayer, Shaykh-ul-Islam delivered nasiha (words of wisdom) to the gathering.
His Eminence Shaykh ul Islam emphasized how faith can become a natural part of a child’s inner being when the proper environment is created to nurture this development from within. The Qur’an describes religion as part of human nature; however, Shaykh-ul-Islam explained that this innate nature must be activated through conscious choices.
Shaykh ul Islam highlighted that parents carry a special responsibility to create an environment in which faith can grow. Faith does not develop in isolation—it must be awakened. Just as a child naturally learns to cry, faith too is innate within human beings.
Without the right environment, a person may lose their identity—like a lion raised among goats. Therefore, children must be nurtured through positive surroundings from an early stage, even before birth.
His Eminence further stated that the character of parents plays a decisive role, as children are influenced by what they see and hear. Respect, calmness, and positive attitudes are therefore essential in shaping a child’s personality.
In his concluding message to the public, Shaykh-ul-Islam advised focusing on the good in others and striving to improve oneself, as this strengthens both a child’s character and faith.
We extend our gratitude to Zahid Aslam, Chairman of Central Jamaat-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Shaykh Syed Nehmat Ali Shah, Imam of Central Jam-e Masjid Ahl-e-Sunnat, and Mufti Zubair Tabassum for their hospitality and warm reception.
Representatives from MQI Norway were also present, including Imam and Director MQI Norway Allama Muhammad Iqbal Fani, Afzal Ansari (Ameer-e-Tehreek), Awais Ejaz Ahmed (President MQI), Hassan Bashir (General Secretary MQI), Pervaiz Nisar (Head, House of Representatives MQI), Arfan Ansari (President MQI Oslo), Asif Javed (President Minhaj Cultural Center Kløfta), and Shafique Siddique (President Minhaj Cultural Center Drammen).

Religious Scholars Are Those Whom Allah Has Made Witnesses to His Oneness: Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri Addresses Scholarly Gathering in Oslo
Oslo, Norway: His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, participated in a special scholarly session organized in honor of religious scholars at the Islamic Center Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Oslo.
On this occasion, Shaykh-ul-Islam delivered a detailed address on the virtues and responsibilities of religious scholars. He stated that religious scholars are, in reality, those distinguished personalities whom Almighty Allah has made witnesses to His Oneness and truth. He emphasized that their true identity lies in being “Qaim bil-Qist”—those who remain steadfast upon justice and fairness at all times and never deviate from the demands of justice in any matter.
While continuing his address, Shaykh-ul-Islam stressed that scholarly discourse must always be based on sound research and strong evidence. Explaining the proper order of scholarly reasoning, he stated that priority must first be given to the Holy Qur’an, followed by the Prophetic Hadith (peace and blessings be upon him), then Ijma (consensus) and Qiyas (analogical reasoning), and finally Ijtihad and personal opinion, as maintaining this order is essential for preserving academic and scholarly standards.
During the session, Shaykh-ul-Islam also responded to various scholarly and research-based questions raised by the participants. The gathering was attended by a large number of scholars from different schools of thought, including Mufti Tahir Aziz, Hafiz Sadaqat Ali Qadri, Hafiz Safdar Ali, Qari Ansar Ali Qadri, Mufti Zubair Tabassum, Allama Arshad Zia, Haroon Qayyum, Allama Kaukab Noorani, Allama Muhammad Jameel Mortensrud, Allama Najeeb-ur-Rehman Naz, Allama Naseer Ahmad Noori, Allama Noor Ahmad Noor, Syed Nehmat Ali Shah, Syed Firasat Ali Bukhari, Qari Muhammad Aslam, Qari Israr Ahmad, Qari Jahangir Drammen, Qari Mahmood-ul-Hasan, Qari Noor Ali Sialvi, Syed Zawar Hussain Naqvi, Qari Rehmat Ilahi, Syed Shamshad Rizvi, Allama Hamid Farooq, Allama Nasir Ali, Qari Shiraz Madani, Syed Hasnain Gilani, Qari Ahmad Bilal Shah, Allama Inam Awan, Qari Zia-ul-Hasnain, Masoom Zubair, Syed Hassan Rizvi, Allama Saleem Alvi, Allama Javed, Allama Bashir Ahmad, Allama Ateeq-ur-Rehman, Allama Abid Kashmiri, Faisal Qayyum, Syed Bilal Imtiaz Shah, Qari Syed Farid, and many other scholars and spiritual leaders from Oslo and surrounding areas.

Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, and Dr. Ghazala Qadri Attend Meet & Greet at MQI Oslo
Oslo, Norway: His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI), and Dr. Ghazala Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League International, visited MQI Oslo, the headquarters of MQI Norway, to participate in a special Meet & Greet session.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Abdullah Khan (MYL Oslo). This was followed by a soulful nasheed presentation performed on daff by Abdul Manan, Haroon Qayyum, Qari Ansari Ali, and Allama Noor Ahmed Noor, which created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
Addressing the gathering, Shaykh-ul-Islam emphasized that no individual alone can preserve and strengthen the faith of children; rather, it requires the collective support of a community. He explained that community does not refer solely to MQI, but to any group founded upon kheyr (goodness and righteousness).
Shaykh-ul-Islam further highlighted that while all Muslims belong to the Ummah, every believer should strive to become part of Kheyr-e-Ummah by encouraging good, discouraging wrongdoing, and maintaining firm faith in Allah Almighty. He noted that faith is strengthened through the first two principles, and all three must remain interconnected.
Shaykh-ul-Islam stressed the importance of active participation in religious and community work. He advised that every individual should assume a role—whether large or small—with the intention of serving the mission of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He encouraged attendees to dedicate at least one day each week to this noble cause and to strive to reach at least one new person through dawah, noting that true motivation develops through consistent action.
His Eminence also urged participants to set clear life goals that incorporate religious commitment, engage in regular sohbah (spiritual companionship), and attend the mosque with the sincere intention of seeking closeness to Allah through prayer.
Shaykh-ul-Islam remarked that although Muslims today did not live during the blessed time of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), they can still connect to his spiritual legacy through collective action—by understanding and sharing the teachings of the Holy Qur’an, improving personal conduct, and striving to revive faith within society.
He further noted that modern research also supports the importance of community life, showing that individuals flourish in structured communities where they develop improved behavior, discipline, and mental well-being. Drawing an analogy, he explained that the human body itself serves as a reminder that each part must fulfill its role for the whole to function effectively.
Representatives from Minhaj European Council (MEC) were also present, including:
Mian Imran-ul-Haq (Senior Vice President, MEC and President, MQI Germany), Sarmad Javed (Vice President, MWF Europe), and Ahmed Javed (Zonal General Secretary, MQI Italy).
Prominent representatives from Norwegian society attended the event, including Sheikh Tariq, a well-known businessman from Oslo; Akhtar Chaudhry, politician; Talat Butt, politician; and Maulana Mehboob-ur-Rehman from the Islamic Culture Center.
Representatives from MQI Norway were also present, including Awais Ejaz Ahmed (President), Afzal Ansari (Ameer-e-Tehreek), Allama Muhammad Iqbal Fani (Imam and Director MQI Norway), Chaudhry Mushtaq Ahmed (President Rabita Committee and Vice President MQI), Zartash Bashir (Vice President MQI), Hassan Bashir (General Secretary MQI), Atif Rauf (Finance Secretary), Ata-ul-Mustafa Mahmood (Joint Secretary), Pervaiz Nisar (Head, House of Representatives MQI), Arfan Ansari (President MQI Oslo), Sheikh Iftikhar (Vice President), Muhammad Nazim Ali (General Secretary), Fahad Nisar (Joint Secretary), and Executive Board members Rauf Hussain, Atique Sial, Shuaib Saleem, Sabir Hussain, Presidents of Minhaj Culture Centers, Asif Javed (Kløfta) and Shafique Siddique (Drammen), were also present on the occasion.
