Remember the hoopla over the announcement of PFAs in Kerrygold butter wrappers back in 2023?

An EPA certified lab found KG's old wrappers (silver) had 61 ppm of organic fluorine.

The new wrappers (gold) had 112 ppm.

Recent re-testing by Mamavation found Kerrygold butter wrappers are nearly 3x WORSE @ 328 ppm!

Fluorine is a proxy for PFAs.

A total of 32 butter wrappers were tested in 2023 and additional testing/updates have occurred in 2024 and 2026.
