Dear @RtHonSheriff, why do the @PoliceNG officers in Asaba act so lawless and toutish?

It's been over 6 years since the last protest in Asaba but police still block major roads in the town around police stations for no apparent reason, causing so much pain and suffering to we the town people.

Just today I parked along the road near Regina Mundi to get come things from the market and I came back to see that police and some agbero had connived to take my plate number off my car. All along that road there are no signs to say no parking, there is no junction there, there is no point with heavy traffic, so why was I made a victim and asked to settle them with 30 thousand naira??
They wasted over one hour of my time before they realised that I was not going to bribe them and they let me go.
@PoliceNG @Brightgoldenboy why are your people frustrating the lived of innocent civilians? I would have documented the procedure, but I didn't want to be killed and dumped in a gutter.
If you put a no parking sign on the road side and they steal it, paint no parking on the floor, you can't expect people to be clairvoyant.

Wife and I attended a beautiful wedding for a dear friend today. He met an incredible woman and it was a joyous event. They have everything in place for a great life.

While there, we sat across from a nursing mother of a 4 month old. Baby was in the stage where everything was of interest, so she was a grabber. Wife offered to hold the baby so the mom could eat, but soon the baby was too fussy to be held and needed to be rocked to sleep

Wife had her 4 inch sparkly heels on, and the ground was rocky. Walking around with a baby would be tough for her.

So I took that wild baby, and having done it with my 4 kids, chanted and rocked that baby to sleep. Baby had zero defenses against my skill.

When a great leader falls, people who have never carried their burdens are often the quickest to misdiagnose the cause. Saying Samson was defeated by lust is a lazy, historically inaccurate reading of his life. Samson was not a sexual predator or a man chasing endless vices. He was a lonely hero who desperately wanted to love and be loved, and his ultimate vulnerability was misplaced trust.

The Bible explicitly states that Samson loved Delilah (Judges 16:4). This wasn't a fleeting physical encounter. He brought her into his inner sanctum, gave her his heart, and treated her as a lifelong partner. He failed because he SIMPED for Delilah.

To see the difference between lust and Samson's flaw, we only need to look at King David. David stood on a rooftop, watched a married woman bathing, demanded she be brought to him, and then murdered her husband to cover up his indulgence. That is the literal definition of destructive, unchecked lust. Yet, David was not 'defeated' or permanently stripped of his calling. If the raw mechanism of lust was what destroyed judges and kings, David would have fallen completely.

Samson fell because his heart was too open to the wrong person.

Al-Imam Ibn Qayyim in his book Al-Daa' wad-Dawaa' brought a Hadith that explains this beautifully. He referenced the famous story of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri.

A group of companions were on a journey and the chief of a local tribe was stung by a scorpion. The people of the tribe tried all their remedies but nothing worked.

One of the companions stepped forward. He recited Surah Al-Fatiha and blew on the chief. The man stood up and started walking around like he was never sick. When they returned and told the Prophet, he smiled and asked him, "How did you know it is a Ruqyah (a cure)?"

This is a core element of faith. Imam Ibn Qayyim explains that the Quran is a perfect medicine. But for the medicine to work, the heart of the person reciting it must have pure Yaqeen (conviction). You approached your mother with total reliance on Allah, and He responded to that sincere faith.

The entirety of the Quran is a cure for all mankind. Allah says He sent down the Quran as a healing and a mercy for the believers. It heals physical sickness in the body just like it heals diseases of the heart.

May the Almighty grant your mother complete healing 🙏
