I know I’m becoming a better person because the old me would’ve cleared the whole room with what I could say. Growth is having the most ruthless comeback ready and choosing peace instead. Just know if I’m quiet, it’s not because I don’t have nothing to say it’s because I’m sparing you.
Being a single mom teaches you resilience, self-trust, and unconditional love. It shows you how strong you can be when there’s no backup plan, how to set boundaries, and how to keep going even when you’re tired and unsure. Support & give those babies all the love you got!!🤍🙏🏽
when I was going to church as a kid, i didn’t understand why people used to cry during service. now that I’m older, i get it. life can beat you down so bad to the point where you know that God is the only reason you’re still standing. God is so good, i’m forever grateful.
Learn to pray a lot. Pray for the big things and the small things. Pray through the good times and the hard times. Don’t worry about anything but instead pray about everything.
I’m moving how I should’ve been moving a long time ago. Real selective with my time. Real quiet about my plans. And real distant from people who show me they’re not for me.
This year taught me that that waiting on God can be one of the most difficult things to do, but it always pays off in the end. When you’re waiting on God, all your vulnerabilities and trust issues will be exposed. But that waiting period truly builds endurance, patience & trust.
A woman who survived her lowest point doesn’t fear losing anything anymore… because once you’ve rebuilt yourself from a place where nobody came to save you, you realize you were the hero the whole time. She’s not cold, she’s not heartless, she’s not difficult… she’s just done attaching her peace to things and people who can disappear overnight. She’s learned that losing someone is never as devastating as losing herself. And once she’s tasted her own strength, once she’s held her broken pieces together and kept moving anyway… nothing scares her anymore. Not endings. Not goodbyes. Not starting over. A woman who’s been to hell and made it back doesn’t fear loss… she fears settling for anything less than she deserves.
