Regardless of your political views or party affiliation, what we witnessed today in our Capitol was nothing less than mob rule, anarchy, an attack on democracy. The displays of “Christian nationalism” are an anathema, contrary to the way of Jesus and the teaching of scriptures!

I am a Christian today because 50 years ago I was made uncomfortable by the news I was a sinner. Why should I resist the uncomfortable news now that as a White person I am privileged and often blind to systemic racism? Discomfort leads me to change!
