Data is mounting that patients on anticoagulants may be able to receive Tpa/TNK. This would greatly increase the percentage of folks eligible for treatment, so I hope the stroke community figures out how to safely put this into practice!

On rounds today, a young patient with anoxic brain injury after an overdose finally awoke enough to smile and laugh at us. He was one of many patients I have seen recently with neurologic sequelae of suicide attempts or substance abuse. Take care of your minds, everyone ❤️

1) immigrant families are so tight and give the richest histories
2) we cant give prisoners quality care. Man asked me to call his sis ab his metastatic cancer diagnosis, per officer, Im not allowed.
