Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

Forever in our hearts.
Remember last year when Arkansas played all their high-caliber SEC opponents closely, but lost a non-conference game to Notre Dame by 43 points?
L to Ole Miss by 6
L to Texas A&M by 3
L to Tennessee by 3
L to Texas by 15
L to Notre Dame by… 43
The Irish didn’t have much trouble against the “depth” and the team at the bottom of the conference.
And then remember when the SEC got 5 teams in a 12 team playoff field and didn’t even reach the National Championship?
Surely just a coincidence.
I LOVE this. We should be spreading stories of athlete empowerment, saving money, and strategizing for future success as opposed to focusing on conflicted and salty Nick Saban arguing for a salary cap without athletes having a seat at the table.
There's a few I can think of, but this no call resulted in:
- TD for other team
- Loss of the game
- Kept Notre Dame out of the playoff
- Allowed Freeman's first loss to an SEC team ever
- Made Notre Dame cannon fodder for false claims about the program for months
- ETC
Arkansas is the perfect example of the SEC illusion of depth. They’re SUPER competitive in nearly every game against top SEC teams, so that shows how deep the SEC is!
…. Except out of conference, Notre Dame beat them by 43 points.
I still can’t believe JMU & Tulane got in the College Football Playoff over Notre Dame
Just a massively flawed system
