CEO Sleepout is tonight. 5 degrees! If you can please help by donating now, it will help the tens of thousands of Australians who experience homelessness each night. They don't have a voice. We need to speak up for them.

This year I'm taking part in my 3rd Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. If you can please help - click below and donate. For us it's one night - for many it's all winter.

Coming home from the wonderful tribute to Warnie last night and see John Howard pushing his own bag through Melb airport. No special treatment. No security. What a great country we live in!
Frankie looked out for me many times as a radio reporter, when we were different businesses and competitors. And after I ate an inordinate amount of sausage rolls in Beaconsfield over 3 weeks with Today Show, started calling my wife - “Mrs Sausage Roll”. RIP Legend.
Pictures on the news each night aren't just plucked from thin air - they are the work of our camera operators.
One of them, a dear workmate, known to us all here at #9News simply as "Frank", has died - here are some of the pictures he took along the way.
In the 2nd week of John's neo-natal care, he spent a few days under the lights to help with jaundice. He was still being fed through the nose, but was no longer on a drip. The Doctors, Nurses and equipment are all vital to helping kids like John survive.
