We argue that inclusion of diverse species and plant functional type mixes in moderate resolution analyses have led to some overstatement of the impact of urban heat on the timing of start and end of season.
For all you urban ecosystem or forest phenology folks still hangin' on the twitter, check out our new article using near-daily PlanetScope images in DC to monitor individual tree phenology. https://t.co/QSaJU21VOJ

@doctorjackpine Makes me sad. I was a longtime enthusiast. Now I gotta figure out how to battle Frontier re: a $326 single carryon bag charge. But I didn't pay for the right to speak with them...
@davebinnig Is your problem with "Barbie McMansion" or with the move towards following instructions vs. free build? Bothers me a bit that creativity is lower and the sets come with hyperspecialized pieces, limiting reuse.
@grantdmckenzie That is quite a shift at the Master's level. But I guess MA/MS programs don't really need an "intellectual core". They just need to promise you riches.
A fully funded Master's or Ph.D. position is available at GERS Lab working on an exciting NASA-funded project using Landsat and ECOSTRESS time series for studying water-use and land-cover change. Please submit your CV, transcript, & research statement to [email protected]

I'm writing a "brief lit review" for a proposal. It has maybe 90% content overlap with the background section of an article for which I was first author. It would be REALLY silly to rewrite this from scratch. Can I just say: "lightly adapted from Alonzo, 2021"?
