I really never expected to be caught lying about my role in the 101 Ash fiasco. I thought I was gonna get away with it, but @DorianHargrove & @LaPrensaSD blew my cover. And when I tried to pick up some of my favorite comfort food, I sqw this. If only I were honest & competent.

I’m a gracious loser. Even though @CoryBriggs beat me twice in court in the last week, and even though taxpayers can’t bail me out this time, I thank him for teaching me this lesson. My eagerness to pad my political resume came at the expense of hurting taxpayers. Thanks, Cory!

@MayorPothole No parody here. I really did lose two cases and really will have to pay the legal bills myself. And I am really bummed that I cannot saddle taxpayers with the bill — like I always do.

I’m a hot mess these days. Last week a judge caught me lying about an endorsement I didn’t have. Today a judge ruled against me and said @CoryBriggs is in fact a “taxpayer advocate.” Worst of all, I must pay his legal bills out of my own pocket and can’t dump it on taxpayers.

@MikeGiorgino @CoryBriggs @MaraWElliott @sdut They had an expiration date. The UT said so publicly the day before ME filed her false statement, and she took no action to fix it after learning about it. That’s the sort of sloppiness that has defined her tenure. San Diegans deserve competence.
