@MattWalshBlog Excluding from the ceremony is rather superficial. For Catholics, matrimony is a sacrament that is witnessed by loved ones and God. I understand banning them from receptions though due to laws around serving alcohol at venues. My uncle had no kids at his reception & it was fine.

@Tala_NoExcuses @DefiantLs So many forms of technology to help. As a kid with ADHD (in the 80s), I had a mother who would literally pull me out of bed and yell if I did not get moving. As an adult, I use reminders and go to bed early. I am almost never late.

@DoneBeingAfraid @DefiantLs A lack of awareness of time is a feature of many mental health conditions. But you need strategies. Just saying nah too hard turns into poor habits.

@DefiantLs I have ADHD as well as mood and anxiety problems. You must learn to overcome it. Organisation is key - I plan extensively with timers, notes, etc. I am late generation X when I was young, no one understood and you learnt the art of being on time. I get huge anxiety if late.

@lilapearl Thank you for being a voice for these survivors. Reading it, I felt physically sick - as a SA survivor and an avid reader of his over three decades. We think we can spot the red flags but we can’t.

@NYMag I really hope there are criminal charges filed. I have loved his writing for decades. It angers me that he proclaimed to be an advocate for SA survivors and for the weird kids of the world. He has betrayed us all.

@brookstweetz Same. Avid reader of his over three decades. Through his association and collaboration with Tori Amos, he also connected with many fans who are SA survivors and he even did work with @RAINN It makes me physically sick. Such a betrayal on so many levels.
