@TkDodo Great article, Dominik. Adding handrails will save many from going down the pitfalls. And if really necessary, a dirty ‚useEffect‘ is easy to spot.
@mattpocockuk It would be great for react router as it only accepts <Route /> in as children of <Routes>. Compile Errors > Runtime Errors
@mattpocockuk Did you work with Decorators in TypeScript yet?
A few days ago I used the MethodDecorator type but was puzzled as it is not limiting the type of the MethodDescriptor.
It is a very technical topic but you probably enjoy the challenge.
@TkDodo@Mati20041 Invalidating after mutating happens a lot. So if there would be a native way to do that…
How about an invalidate field that takes an array of query keys to be invalidated (on settled)? Just as a first idea. I will be looking into the code and maybe do a PR :)
@TkDodo@Mati20041 When this is a custom hook, I can’t const useCustom = () => useMutation(…) but need to => {const qc = …, return useMutation(…)}
@floydophone Shoutout to @TkDodo for one of the greatest blogs regarding react-query. It might not count as documentation but for me it helped getting insights over reading pure documentation.

That's right - Cat is in an impossible state! It might work for quantum physics thought experiments but not for React UIs.
