Reasons #4: Copy-Paste is really difficult and not as easy as in MacOS
Oftentimes you want to copy one line to another application. Because the iPadOS application (e.g. #slack) don't behave consistently, it's just hard to have the same outcome
Reason #3: Any attempt to use an Webpage, iPad OS forces you to use the native application, which falls into Reason #2
Sometimes you want to use an webapp, but iPadOS forces you to move to native application which offers a terrible user experience
Reason #2: Applications don’t behave consistently
Applications in both MacOS and iPadOS have some degree of inconsistencies and that leads me to adapt constantly.
Reason #1: Applications for iPadOS is not mature as in MacOS
I am a Google Docs heavy user and these webapps are terrible when you start working on iPadOS, especially for content creation.
Experiment: Moving from MacBook Laptop to iPad Pro as a primary working tool.
Has anyone accomplished this ?
I’m going to test it out this week and see how it goes.
