@elonmusk I'm interested. I also am an independent but this year I refused to vote Republican. Recent party leaders and an insane platform had me voting straight ticket Democrat. Why did you go the other way?

@Snubs Open Source Twitter alternative would be nice. Maybe as a non-profit organization with the goal of providing reach for everybody. Like the internet should be, I wonder if social media has reached a point that we should be thinking about them as public services and infrastructure.

@elonmusk I just wanted to say that I know you are a human trying to do the right things. The products/causes you focus on show that. Many don't agree with some of your positions (I sometimes don't). You are trying to do good things. This is a season and summer will come again.

@disclosetv Yes. Also, many of us are descendants of people who have done objectively terrible things in history. That doesn't mean we can't try to make things better and avoid repeating those horrible things.

The problem is that people don't recognize that hate speech is a two way street, it's rush hour and everybody is road raging at everybody else on the roads.

@elonmusk @elonmusk I think you find yourself in a battle between Free Speech and the Free Markets. Advertisers can exercise their rights by not advertising on any platform. If you want their dollars you have to find the right path. That simple.
