But… if it is true that i am disrespecting the art i will acknowledge that. Would have just appreciated that the people i consulted with were understanding that the idea was naive. I dont think so still… maybe i just cant grasp it. Until then its a sour memory for now.

There was a time i wanted to make an oc with aikido as her main style and when i had consulted people who were practicing it or are knowledgeable about martial arts i was met with anger of “thats unrealistic. Don’t do that” and even after explaining my intent they didnt listen…

If youre wondering what the idea was, its would have been the oc’s mindset of “take the teachings and approach taught in aikido and apply it to the fight. It may be passive, but those teachings could give an extra edge since people tend to not expect it” its vey vague now.
