#MadlangaCommission [SGT NKOSI FACES ADDITIONAL CHARGES]
The Commission’s Recommendations Investigative Task Team has brought additional charges of defeating and obstructing the course of justice against Sergeant Fannie Nkosi.
Sergeant Nkosi is now expected to appear before the Thohoyandou Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 15 May 2026.
It is alleged that on 10 November 2022, a suspect was arrested for possession of dagga, unlicensed firearms and explosives.
Investigations indicate that Sgt Nkosi fetched the original case docket under the pretext that he had been sent by Head Office. A few months later, he allegedly returned to Thohoyandou, identified himself as a Colonel from Head Office, and removed the confiscated dagga from police custody.
He later booked in the exhibit at Head Office, but it was later discovered that one of the exhibit bag containing the dagga was tempered with.
A case of defeating and obstructing the course of justice has been registered for investigation.
Lesson learned: Never judge a Madlanga Commission witness by their morning testimony! 🎭
I almost shed a tear for Warrant Officer Steve Phakula when he narrated his sad story about General Khan. He sounded so genuine, honest, and helpless after that "self-supervising" guy called him out for a drug bust. I was literally sitting here thinking Khan is Satan’s great-grandfather! 😭
The Plot Twist: Kante yeerrrrr, die ding is ook ‘n skelm!
Enter the Female Ganda Ganda: Advocate Sesi Baloyi entered the chat and engineered his neck! 🔥
Mama Sesla put it to him so hard he started choking up and releasing extra air from the back! Before I knew it, the emotional playing cards were gone, and he was admitting to absolutely everything.
From now on, I am waiting until further notice before I catch feelings. Trust nobody until the cross-examination is done! 🗣️⚖️ #MadlangaCommission #ProtectGeneralMkhwanazi
