Two years ago, I wouldn’t have been caught dead at a Trump rally.
I was a liberal, I thought Trump was awful.
Tonight was a beautiful moment to remember just how far I’ve come in 2 years.
Yes, I’m frustrated with a lot, but I’m reminded just how INSANELY GOOD we have it.
Do you remember what it used to be like?
Do you remember how bad it was?
I remember screaming on X for the Biden administration to help Western North Carolina for MONTHS.
All I got was silence.
I was mocked by Biden’s FEMA and they called me a liar for showing what was OUTSIDE MY OWN FRONT DOOR.
Do you remember that?
I do.
Do you remember when they called illegal immigration unsolvable?
I do.
Before Trump got into office, I had no idea it was even a big problem, I had no idea our country was completely invaded by illegals until I got on X, and saw the truth.
We are so quick to forget how dark it was before Trump came into office.
I’m guilty of it just as much as anyone.
But the beauty of the Trump rally, was that he reminded me of all the things he’s accomplished, and how much crap I’ve taken for granted, forgotten about, and then gotten upset about the problems he hasn’t solved yet.
And I’m worried that a lot of people have or will be so caught up in the bad, that they forget the good.
And there’s so much good
On a personal note… I live in a very liberal city, and it was such a uniquely beautiful experience to be surrounded by people who didn’t hate me or want me dead.
There’s so many good amazing people that love America and want her to succeed.
That alone made the trip with it.
One of my buddy’s sons skipped college and became an electrician at 18.
He was told either college or military were his only two options.
His parents weren’t exactly excited when he went to trade school. Actually they were a little embarrassed.
Most of their friends’ kids were going off to universities. Their son was showing up to job sites at 6am.
By 21 he was making $90k
By 24 he had his master electrician license making over $120k
At 27 he started taking his own jobs on the side for a total of $200k
Last year at 29 his little “electrician business” did $1.8M with 4 vans.
Funny how that works.
His parents used to explain why he didn’t go to college.
Now they tell everyone he owns an electrical company.
We need more 18-year-olds to know this path exists.
Day 229 tagging @mikeroweworks until more parents start bragging about trade school too.
Consider to RT if you agree.
OAKLAND: California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Convention
Becerra was booked too, but he CANCELED. The absolute arrogance of this corrupt machine! He thinks he'll become governor without even running.
Well I showed up. Unlike Becerra, the 36 year career politician, I’ve worked in business most of my career, including as a small business owner. I know EXACTLY how tough things have gotten for small businesses after 16 years of one party rule. Here’s my plan to fix it:
First $150k tax free.
Abolish the $800 small business tax.
End the insane regulations on small business.
End PAGA lawsuits.
California will again be a place where businesses grow instead of flee. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Californians never voted to ban gas cars. Californians never voted to ban tires. Californians never voted for a new healthcare tax – to the contrary, they expressly forbade it.
We're fighting to protect the will of California voters from the schemes of Sacramento politicians.
ATTENTION EVERYONE IN IDAHO
Wydaho Roasters coffee shop owner compares pro-life group to the KKK before kicking them out of his shop
Would be a shame if everyone in the area sees this!
HANDS OFF OUR TIRES!
When I’m governor, I’ll fire the “tire-ant” Nancy Skinner, who was behind this ridiculous tire ban.
Not only that… I’ll SHUT DOWN the California Energy Commission entirely, with or without the Legislature.
ENOUGH of the bureaucrats driving up prices!
Here’s what supporting TRUMP cost me:
My aunt is Patti LaBelle, famous singer AND DEMOCRAT.
Christmas 2019, she had just informed me that I had to move out of the home I had happily shared with her for 12 years.
So when I heard her and my family talking about what a threat Trump was, I asked her “why should I be afraid of trump when you’re the one who just made me homeless?”
Her family instantly attacked me and threw me out of her house.
And just last year, she had a problem with me talking about my life with her on this platform.
My punishment for using my 1st Amendment right this way was LIFETIME BANISHMENT.
And as of today, she's still not speaking to me.
And because SHE'S not speaking to me:
NO ONE IN HER CIRCLE IS SPEAKING TO ME.
And this will apparently last the rest of my life.
WHY?
Because NO ONE VIOLATES AND DISRESPECTS DEMOCRACY AND FREE SPEECH MORE THAN DEMOCRATS.
I learned that lesson on Black Christmas 2019, and I've been learning it ever since.
And even though I've gotten out of politics, they still hate me.
But all that tells me is that I'm doing something RIGHT.
Because I’d rather vote Republican because I WANT to, than Democrat because I HAVE to.
God Bless America 🇺🇸
🚨ATTENTION CALIFORNIA: In a few weeks, we have a major choice: To replace @GavinNewsom w/someone who’ll continue his policies & force us to purchase a limited selection of inferior & more expensive tires OR a man who will expand selection & reduce prices.
@SteveHiltonx@TeamSteveHilton is the CLEAR & only choice.
@XavierBecerra has made it clear he’s going to be Newsom’s third term & perhaps worse. This isn’t a partisan issue. It’s one of common sense.
While the high speed rail scandal is bad, it doesn’t hit home like Newsom’s new tire regulations that ban 70% of all tires sold in the state. He banned plastic straws. He banned cheap gasoline. He even banned a common & safe cosmetic ingredient (boric acid). But now Newsom’s managed to make it worse by making transportation less safe & more expensive — and for NO reason other than to torment us.
As Governor, Steve Hilton can and will immediately reserve all these decisions.
