When we Christians are more known for our support of presidents than we are for our support of the poor, the immigrant, the marginalized, and the oppressed, that is when we know we are following someone other than Jesus and we have a lot of repenting to do.
It is quite the fragile god who needs political power to preserve and enforce their will.
It is quite the powerful God who is born in poverty, partners with the poor, washes feet, heals the sick, advocates for the oppressed, is unjustly killed and still changes the entire world.
@McCormackJohn@SenateGOP Sadly, many Christian voters who voted for the “policies” over character will have to see that character did matter. “Out of the heart the mouth speaketh.” T has no need now to cater to others’ whims. He was only holding to certain policies to get their votes. So awful.
@WalshFreedom This is what I hear/ feel from evangelical friends/family. Help! They still say they voted for the policies and wherever they do hear their news is not apparently showing Trump’s lies and character. Any stats you say they believe is a lie from the “leftist media”.
