Today, Mila fell asleep for the final time, taking with her that silent presence that paced through my home and leaving an indescribable, yet palpable void everywhere.

She was never just an ordinary friend..she was my discreet companion, always by my side, able to lighten even the toughest of days, a simple, sincere refuge that never asked for anything in return.

The first time I saw her, she was clumsy and small, unable to even climb on the couch, and yet, she immediately conquered my heart. She grew up by my side, sleeping while I worked, waiting for me in the difficult times, always present.

Today I wrapped her in her favorite blanket and whispered to her to rest. Anyone who has loved a dog knows: they’re not “just animals,” they’re family members, and when they leave, they take a bit of us with them, but leave an everlasting love behind.

From what I’m hearing Mitch McConnell is allegedly on life support after going into cardiac arrest and becoming unconscious and unresponsive at his home where paramedics did CPR and took him to the hospital.Republicans don’t want the truth to come out before the midterms.
