Hon Owere Gerald Ogutti the Youth chairman Namayingo Town Council yesterday in the Namayingo District Stakeholders Meeting organised by @uydelx said;

It is very difficult to fight crime when leaders are not united. We see conflicts among leaders at every level from village leadership to the national level. When leaders are divided, it becomes challenging to mobilize communities and effectively raise awareness about crime prevention.

If leaders cannot sit together, work together, and speak with one voice, how can we expect communities to unite in addressing the challenges they face? Unity among leaders is essential if we are to successfully combat crime and promote peace and security.

My appeal to all leaders is that we put aside our differences, work together, and do what is right for the good of our communities. By demonstrating unity and cooperation, we can make significant progress in reducing crime and improving the well-being of the people we serve.

UPDATE | YOUTH EMPOWERMENT IN NAMAYINGO

The Uganda Youth Development Link @uydelx , in partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime - @UNODC , yesterday launched a Counter-Extremism, Anti-Drug, and Anti-Radicalisation Training* for youth in *Namayingo District*.

The ongoing Training of Trainers (TOT) DAY 2 is equipping youth leaders with knowledge and skills to prevent drug abuse, counter violent extremism, and promote peace and resilience in their communities.

This initiative aims to empower young people as agents of change to safeguard their peers and build safer, healthier communities.
