I have seen a lot of people who opened businesses because they had money!

So when you have money and you start a business the idea is l have enough to keep running,l will not go broke!

I think one lesson from them is that you don’t need a big client or idea to be successful,what you need is are consistent clients that helps you pay the bills month in,month out.

Any strategy that tells you to build a very big project without small little projects to help it is a lie and you will one day close!

I know a guy who had this solar project a huge one,they had to do a small solar farm in some remote parts of Masvingo,he was so excited and put all the money in that project!

I remember,one day l was doing financial planning with him for the project,one guy came and told him about the 5KV solar that needed to be installed,he said no l am not wasting time on small projects,l tried to warn him but he was adamant!

Later on the order he made to China,took longer to come in and when it arrived he also had issues with the guys at the boarder,his agent had not done good paper work,

By the time he delivered and got paid,he had sold all his cars,

I laughed at him because he failed to do business 101.

If you plan to leave your job and run your own business,find some consistent clients to start with,that way you will be guaranteed enough money to pay your rentals,your employees or any other small businesses costs!

It’s easy to be trapped in the chase of big projects and fail to make a good business over years!

I have always met these big idea guys and most of the time they have nothing because they spend years and years trying to execute the big plan!

To win you need some consistent cash flows!

Keep at it and stay in the game!
