High Commissioner H.E. Dr. @Mariyam_Shab met with the Executive Committee of the Maldivian Student Association Malaysia (MSAM), along with university representatives from Taylor’s University, Monash University, Sunway University, University of Cyberjaya (UOC) and Asia Pacific University (APU). Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration and working together to further support the Maldivian student community in Malaysia.

Students from @OfficialIIUM (KAED) successfully presented their fieldwork findings on the iconic ‘Hukuru Miskiy’ in Male’. The study in the Maldives showcased vital insights into its Islamic heritage in building, highlighting the mosque’s historical and cultural significance.

EMGS @EducationMYSIA introduced the My Alumni App, My Alumni Card & ETF at the Study in Malaysia Global Alumni event, launched by YB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, Minister of Higher Education. As part of the launch, H.E. Dr. @Mariyam_Shab received the inaugural MyAlumni Card in recognition of her status as a Malaysian university graduate.

Dr. @Mariyam_Shab attended the Dialogue Session with Study in Malaysia Global Alumni, themed “From Malaysia to the World: A Dialogue on Purpose, Innovation & Leadership.” H.E. delivered a speech reflecting on her experience studying in Malaysia and the impact it had on her professional journey, followed by an engaging conversation with the moderator.

High Commissioner H.E. Dr. @Mariyam_Shab welcomed students from Villa College’s Master of Science in Counselling and Master of Clinical programs, currently in Malaysia under the student mobility exchange partnership between @VillaCollegeMv and the University of Cyberjaya (UoC). The students will complete their clinical internship, gaining hands-on experience in therapeutic approaches and clinical interventions. H.E. shared insights on the mission’s initiatives and discussed future collaboration for research and training opportunities. @a_najyb
