Om Jana, a 35-year-old mother of three from Gaza, works tirelessly every day to care for her children amid severe hardship. Her husband has been imprisoned for over a year, leaving the family without a breadwinner. They now live in a roofless tin shelter, the remaining part of their destroyed home, where they face cold weather, rain, and storms, with no running water or electricity. Her daughter Jana is 14, son Mohammed (11) suffers from respiratory problems, and youngest son Adam (5) longs to attend kindergarten, though the $20 monthly fee is beyond their reach. Mohammed and Adam each require $30 per month to attend school through a local organization, but Om Jana struggles even to afford basic food items like flour, rice, oil, or vegetables, as well as firewood for cooking. Despite repeated efforts to seek assistance, she has received no support, and she cannot afford transportation, a tent, or any alternative place if forced to evacuate. All she seeks is enough to feed her children, keep them warm, and give them a chance at education and a safer future.
