@stopvaccinating Thank god the world has changed and these kids are given the individual assistance to integrate and be accepted. My son is autistic and one of the smartest men you will ever come across. Attitudes like yours belong in the decade you were born!
@stopvaccinating Yes. However they were called ‘backward’ and segregated into a remedial class at school. I’m 52 and still remember the teachers name and some of the students names. The sadness when I think of it about how these kids were advertised to the whole school as being ‘thick kids’
@criminographer I cant say anything that could ease your pain but she is a beautiful little girl who looked full of fun and love. Playing now with her big brother. Two beautiful children created by your family and loved forever
@criminographer Absolutely devastated for you. I’ve followed you since the sad loss of Alexander. I’m on holiday and saw this and my heart has dropped, I am a mother and can’t even imagine your pain. My evening will be spent thinking of you all. There will be no joy for me tonight. Sending love
@cookhamcockapoo@KirstieMAllsopp@thatsnotmine125 As it is ‘their exams not ours’ and not to be ready to encourage them to reach for their dreams even if it means resits. GCSE results are the starting platform for many a successful career and not A levels and there are many alternatives around A levels which land success.
@cookhamcockapoo@KirstieMAllsopp@thatsnotmine125 Her with our love, encouragement and pride in how well she had done gave her the boost to pick herself up. Even with her knock backs we show how thrilled we are at every step even when she feels it’s ‘not enough’. They need to see our joy at their achievements not to ‘wait’.
@KirstieMAllsopp@thatsnotmine125 Except the Maths GCSE 6. Three years of uni applications and not one university will touch her even though she has every other qualification including a higher education science and maths. She needs that grade 6. We have paid for her to redo the Maths GCSE. They DO matter
@KirstieMAllsopp@thatsnotmine125 Unfortunately they do matter. My daughter got a 5 in Maths which meant she couldn’t do A level, so went to college. Studied three years for science level 3 diplomas distinction* grades in all units which tutors told her they rarely see. Everything she needed for Vet course……….
@DreyfusJames I lost my beautiful boy Buddy Bear 14 months ago to cancer. He was such a brave boy yet the ending came so quick and unexpected. The grief overwhelmed us and still does to this day. Today we have two new bichon puppies who bring us so much joy but could never replace our big boy
@DreyfusJames I’m too busy enjoying a new found appreciation in watching you in Notting Hill…..never seen the film before now showing on sky movies, what a treat!!!!
