Pakistan has always been a dangerous place for Afghans, it is amazing that things went as well as they did (for those who were afraid of the consequences of the US withdrawal and went there) for as long as it did. That was luck. People love a scapegoat for domestic problems.
Unfortunately, the P1/P2 case holders who live in Islamabad have been arrested by the police again, even though they have the security letter of the American Embassy.
@alexplitsas@ForeignOfficePk Dear Sir, we p1p2 allies saying for two years we p1p2 allies are facing too many problems in Pakistan we need argent help?

#Afghans in #Pakistan with U.S. pathways (SIV/IV, USRAP P1/P2, & those in the humanitarian parole application process) are receiving from USG letters indicating as much.
- These letters are real
- Pakistan has a mechanism for confirming authenticity (so please do not fabricate).
@shawnjvandiver@GovtofPakistan Dear Sir, what will be our future waiting for two years now facing deportation we p1p2 allies in Pakistan are forgotten ?
Afghans all around the world paid @USCIS two months living expenses per humanitarian parole application and most haven’t been actioned.
Meanwhile, other nationals paid $0 and were swiftly approved.
It’s past time for @DHSgov to give these folks answers on their applications.

We just sent over the final letter to @GovPakistan, and provided a suggestion that they consider U.S. Visas equivalent to an exit permit.
This letter represents a cross-section of American diplomatic, national security, and humanitarian experience.
We await Pakistan's response.
Big news over at @afghanevac. Every person who signed this letter is standing with Afghans.
We hope @GovtofPakistan will allow @UNmigration to open an RSC, exempt US pathway Afghans from their deportation policy, and fix the exit permit process.
The whole world is watching.
@shawnjvandiver Dear Shawn, please we need argent support and evacuation we are waiting in Pakistan for more than 2 years please take some serious action for p1p2 allies?
