Today, I attended the official inauguration of the Compact Development Workshop for the System Transformation Grant (STG), an initiative under the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). This significant grant, amounting to $117 million, is allocated to Nigeria by the GPE. Following a rigorous shortlisting process, six states, including Kebbi, Abia, Kwara, Akwa Ibom, Lagos, and, notably, Bauchi, which I represent as Governor, have been chosen to benefit from this grant.

The workshop, scheduled from January 15th to 17th, 2023, will outline the implementation strategies of the grant and disseminate other crucial information to the selected states. As the Governor of Bauchi, I am honoured to be part of this pivotal event, set to impact our education system significantly. #GreaterBauchi

I just heard the full gist between Halima Shehu and Betta Edu. There is more to what eyes can see and ears can hear.

We await the EFCC report.

But we need to do better with our system. The system is too porous and flawed for accountability and transparency. We need to start having discussion on how best we can improve our system for better delivery of governance.

What PBAT did today will restore confidence in the minds of Nigerians and prove that the government is serious about it's fight against corruption.

As a Country, we are not yet ready to address our Education and Health challenges. How can we allocate more resources to regional interventions than national social development sectors like Health and Education
