A lot of folks have asked why I jumped into the #SaveStargate campaign.
Truth is, this was never about how many episodes I appeared in.
It was about supporting friends, standing behind a cast and crew I respect and recognizing one of the most passionate fan communities out there. The Stargate universe has meant a great deal to a lot of people for a very long time.
When people care that deeply about something and work that hard to keep it alive, I’m happy to lend my voice.
Some things are worth getting loud about.

@HorrorHammer1 Not only is this the best version of this story ever made, but it’s also an absolute masterpiece of filmmaking. I was lucky enough to watch it at a theatre in a restored copy, together with Murnau’s Nosferatu. What an evening that was!
@mistergoodbytes@TheStingisBack 2/2 show tried to capitalize on his newly found fame by deciding to renew the show for another season. That forced Brosnan to decline the role, that went to Timothy Dalton instead. (end)
@mistergoodbytes@TheStingisBack 1/2 He was offered Bond and he accepted the role around 1985, after the producers of Remington Steele had decided not to make another season of the show. But when it became public knowledge that he was going to be announced as the new Bond, the producers of the (continued)
@SpyHards Both, actually. I really wanted at least one more Dalton film, but at the same time I was pleased that Brosnan was cast as the new Bond: if Dalton had to leave, then it had to be Brosnan to replace him, I couldn’t imagine anyone else stepping into his shoes.
@RodneyMarshall1@bram_kawa@ChimeWhistle No, we don’t dub films in Portugal either. Only cartoons and kid films. And thank God for that, I’ve seen a couple of films dubbed in Portuguese and hated it. Give me subtitles all day, everyday.

@SpyHards All of the Craig films, including CR ( the film is ok, but I just can’t stand Craig as Bond). The rest of the films in the franchise I rewatch on a regular basis.
@RetroMoviesDB 2/2 screenplay is really well written, the pace is fast, the action well staged, and the cast (for the most part) does an excellent job. Not the best movie evee made, but entertaining enough to justify at least one viewing. (ended)
@RetroMoviesDB 1/2 Since my second favorite Time Travel Movie (Time After Time) has already been mentioned many times, here’s another one: A Sound of Thunder (2005), based on a short story by Ray Bradbury. The movie suffers from a low budget, the soundtrack is not very good, but the (…)
@axaxia92 It changed alright, but not for the better: Craig is, without a doubt, the worst Bond in the history of the franchise. Boring, with no style or sophistication, constantly bitching and moaning about everything and looking like he ate something that tasted bitter. The worst.
