@regent0x_ Atleast mention the guy who made the video instead of content farming off of it. Also, the whole premise of your post sucks. Any IT dept at a law firm would be fired and probably sued if they couldn’t explain where their data went using AI. @geerlingguy is the creator of video.
The CEO of BlackRock, Larry Fink, admits that the trillions of dollars being used to build data centers and power grids will come from ordinary people’s savings accounts and pension funds, and says it is mandatory.
He says America needs trillions in AI infrastructure spending, and that people will be forced to “invest” in it.
“Much of this will come from savings accounts and pension accounts.”
@Fat_Electrician money corrupts and people often agree: Big tech is bringing in massive monetary incentives. multiple local governments held votes where hundreds of local citizens are pleading for them to say “no data centers” local politicians ignore their constituents pleads vote “yes” anyway.
@Fat_Electrician To summarize; They decrease overall supply of land to families, they are terrible for the environment on multiple fronts, it’s more than likely a majority that doesn’t like them, people are sick of trash AI.
@Fat_Electrician There’s honestly so many different ways in which data centers are terrible for nearly every aspect of life in the surrounding area, even when considering the temporary “economy boost” that the construction /taxes brings with them. 🧵 👇
@Fat_Electrician moral obligations ignored: folks are starting to wake up and open their eyes to see what’s happening. Big tech is making moves, forcing “AI”beverything now. Most are sick of it, + we all know where the AI models run- Data Centers, specifically the newer ones that are being built.
@Fat_Electrician Local environmental issues; Noise, Vibration, Water, pollution. Data centers move large volumes of air and water. The mechanical systems that perform this create large amounts of noise and vibration. large amounts of water is used for cooling. local water tables with heavy metals
@Fat_Electrician Negative property outcomes for areas that may have been utilized for home building: This drives up local property prices for would-be home owners, and future home owners. (Since the data centers utilize a large amount of land most of the new GPU focused ones anyways).
@9000reyals_wej@unusual_whales No you’re probably a bot. If you were real you’d listen to the video and understand he’s talking about the previous administration and what they would do.
@shockcityrocke1@1960dude Yeah lol like a codebase review is the most monotonous and boring things anyone in cyber sec can do anyways lmfao 🤣 please Claude keep it up! 👍
@techspence Look man I’m not trying to rain on your parade I just wanted to highlight you can use bloodhound with a sharp hound collector (which you can also just simply download from a bloodhound instance) and I’m also not a spectrops fan boy just to clarify.
