HURL Signs MoU for Project Sehat Sathi | A Step Towards Healthier Communities

HURL has taken another meaningful stride in its CSR journey with the signing of an MoU for Project "SEHAT SATHI" a focused community healthcare intervention across Gorakhpur, Barauni, and Sindri.
The MoU was signed in the gracious presence of VP (HR) and the teams from HLFPPT and HURL, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening public health systems in project areas.

In partnership with HLFPPT, Project Sehat Sathi aims to enhance government health facilities through infrastructure upgrades, essential medical equipment, improved maternal care, and community-centric engagement initiatives.

Key components of the project include:
* Upgradation of select PHC/CHC/HWC facilities
* Installation of ultrasound and phaco machines
* Strengthening labour room infrastructure
* Skill-building sessions for medical and paramedical staff
* Family planning camps, ANC check-up events, and SBCC activities
* Wheelchair distribution across all intervention areas

With an expected reach of 50,000 beneficiaries, the project is designed to uplift healthcare delivery, align with national quality standards, and foster healthier, more informed communities.

HURL remains committed to advancing community well-being and ensuring accessible, dignified healthcare for all.

Continuing with the guidance visits, Dr Divya Valecha, Assistant Commissioner, Family Planning, @MoHFW_INDIA, representatives from NTSU, @SHSBihar, CMO offices and PSI India team visited health centres in #Munger, #Sheikhpura, and #Patna. She observed the documentation and follow-up process related to #FamilyPlanning, especially #FPLMIS and #HMIS data about the new contraceptives, Antara-SC (#Subcutaneous) and #IMPLANTS. She also interacted with health service providers on #Antara-SC and IMPLANTS and listened to feedback from beneficiaries.
