Out of all the demands of CJP, the one about compensating 1 cr to families whose kid committed suicide is the most flawed.

I understand the sentiments, the leak was unfair, but we need to figure out the reason of suicides. Unreal expectations & NEET being a single point of failure. Students commit the act, fearing what their family & neighbours would think. It’s the guilt of letting them down. Throwing money at this won’t solve it. It’s actually ridiculous.

Many are celebrating the kind of abuse a 75-year-old man, who sits on the chair of the Prime Minister of India, faced at the hands of the protesters. They are calling it an example of his "aura" being damaged. It is much more than that. कोई कह रहा कि लिखकर रख लो नहीं हटेगा, कोई गृहयुद्ध की धमकी दे रहा, कोई वही घिसी-पिटी 5000 साल पानी न पीने देने वाली कहानी लेकर आ रहा, कोई ललकार रहा कि सड़क पर उतरकर दिखाओ, कोई रीच के लिए लिख रहा कि कुछ नहीं होगा तो कोई सचमुच निराश है कि किसी राजनीतिक दल का समर्थन इस आंदोलन को नहीं मिलेगा।

लेकिन, मेरा प्रश्न केवल इतना है कि आओ चर्चा तो करो। बहस करो। साबित करो कि क्या जायज है या क्या नहीं। चर्चा से क्यों भागना, अगर तथ्य व तर्क हैं तुम्हारे तरकस में तो? चर्चा हो जाए, भारत शास्त्रार्थ की भूमि रही है।

सीधा फ़ैसला मत सुनाओ न, इसके पीछे तर्क दो। 4 फैक्ट्स बताओ। फ़िलहाल तो एटीट्यूड ऐसा है कि ग़लत है फिर भी जारी रहेगा, हटाकर दिखा दो दम है तो।

2014 में नंदन नीलेकणि बेंगलुरु दक्षिण से कांग्रेस के टिकट पर लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ चुके हैं। उन्हें BJP के दिग्गज नेता अनंत कुमार ने 2.28 लाख वोटों के अंतर से हराया था। उसके बाद नंदन नीलेकणि ने कभी चुनाव लड़ने का साहस नहीं किया।

UPA-1 में आधार कार्ड वाला प्रोजेक्ट उनकी ही देखरेख में शुरू हुआ था। जब NDA आई तो उन्होंने पीएम मोदी से मुलाक़ात करके आधार के फ़ायदे समझाए थे। नंदन नीलेकणि ने कांग्रेस कब छोड़ी इसे लेकर भी संदेह है। 2015 में कांग्रेस ने कहा था कि वो बस निष्क्रिय हैं, उन्होंने पार्टी की सदस्यता नहीं छोड़ी है।

वैसे वो शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में सक्रिय रहे हैं! वैसे दक्षिणपंथी विचारकों में शायद कोई योग्य नहीं है?
