HUGE BREAKING 🚨 S Jaishankar hits back at a Pakistani journalist at the UN.
Journalist: “When will your government stop sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan?”
Jaishankar: “A terrorist country is asking me that question? Come on!” 🔥
It is undeniable, even for the most ardent critics and politicized minds in India, that the BRICS summit in India was a huge success with a very difficult joint declaration pulled off.
But did you notice...
The international coverage on India hosted BRICS has been overwhelmingly positive?
All the GLISCO aided, China aligned parties have not done any major criticism of this event leaving their political supporters very disappointed?
And none of their DS agents did protests around the time, created issues, did a sabotage, or made a scene for media to cover India's hosting negatively?
IMO, the reason for such positive coverage, reflecting the real Indian success (as always) is simple: GLISCO-DS wanted it so to send a message to the US.
Hence GLISCO influenced media and their reporters around the world covered the event positively and showed BRICS in India as a big success - which it definitely was.
Chinese media coverage too was highly positive, not just on BRICS but on India itself. And local Indian media, from the CCPdu to its senior GLISCO ideology reporter, were praising the event and even the kits.
But if China had sent a message, by Xi not attending BRICS in India, this same international coverage would have nit-picked issues from the event and made BRICS hosted by India look bad and useless.
There would have been severe political criticism on the event and there could have been protests organized by the usual suspects or even a sabotage in someway.
So here's what I understand: Most of what India is doing for itself and for the world is very positive, but this GLISCO media network decides which ones are made to look positive and which negative.
If you observe keenly, whenever PM Modi and India get along with the GLISCO-DS aligned themes, the coverage of India itself turns very positive.
But whenever we see India acting in partnership with the US, or in alignment with USDS, the international coverage becomes negative and local political criticism increases.
In 2023, before the important G-20, India was needed to create a consensus at the event and against the west/US interests. The coverage of India and PM Modi on international media like BBC, Reuters, NYT, WaPo, WSJ, DW etc reached its peak positive around the time.
Chandrayaan-3 was celebrated beyond what even Indian nationalist media was celebrating it. And strides India had made under PM Modi's leadership in the last 10 years were highlighted to a great extent internationally.
But I'm not sure what went wrong at the summit, may be they didn't get what they expected from India, we noticed the sentiment on India and coverage of PM Modi nosedived soon after the summit. And it progressed to worse before 2024 elections.
Tl;Dr India is still seen as a swing state and PM Modi as a swing leader by the GLISCO-DS. They tend to reward India aligning with them / China led world order. And tend to create issues if India sways to the western camp. And the USDS does the opposite, but its influence in the world and inside India is now waning.
Thank you, India, for all the love and support. ❤️🇮🇳
Remember, anyone who stands against India stands against Russia as well. So before you even think of casting an eye on India, remember Russia.
There was a time when people went to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Manasarovar and other difficult-to-reach tirthas only later in life when they had fulfilled most of their responsibilities. Roads were treacherous back then and buses could hurtle down into gorges.
But with improvement of infrastructure, people are not waiting for old age and going to Himalayan tirthas even in their 20s and 30s. The current Nepal disaster and various other disasters that are happening with regularity must give us pause.
In the 2013 disaster in Uttarakhand more than 100,000 people were trapped and the army had to work round the clock to rescue stranded people.
I do not think it was a good idea to over-promote tourism in the ecologically sensitive areas of the Himalayas. This year, records were broken when 1.5 million devotees visited Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri in the first 30 days of the 2026 yatra. Joshimath choked under a 25 km traffic jam earlier this year. Kailash Mansarovar is also seeing a massive increase in tourists. The Rasuvagadhi route in which so many people were swept away yesterday has seen an 18.75% year-on-year increase in pilgrims.
Let's not get lulled into complacency by the better infrastructure. When Nature hits back against mindless development, no civil engineering can hold up. There are no easy solutions here but we need to really reduce the numbers of people clambering up over the Himalayas.
Coaching industry is huge in India minting billions. What PM has announced with online direct coaching by GoI is going to hurt them for sure.
Which means they are going to organize and not just create protests, but may program every student against the PM and his policies in their institutes.
So this is a brave move by PM. "Political suicide", some would say, given the GoI with its MIB is unable to even counter blatant fake news propaganda.
But good luck to the PM fighting the coaching mafia. Regulating them has to be done at some point in time by govt. Let this be the start.
Of course, many of these coaching institutes are genuine and do a great service to the nation. We should not forget this.
Every coaching institute cannot be called "coaching mafia." Hope they will join this effort of the PM.
This news never made it in India. India's ISRO developed (partly) and launched NASA-ISRO NISAR satellite found something very interesting in Antarctica 6 days ago.
I'm not getting into the details of what was discovered. The point of this post is something more important:
@isro has 8M followers. It's account is dormant since July 18th. Isn't this a huge waste of information space?
> If we are so poor in our own narrative,
> If even orgs like ISRO can't run an active social media (which many youngsters will do for free if given an internship),
> If GoI isn't pushing India's achievements to reach the Gen-Z continuously,
> If Indian media only cover the issues in India, not elsewhere, and not the good stuff happening,
Then this information and communication gap is captured by adversaries and hostile actors, using our issues like they don't happen elsewhere, to program our own young against the govt, our institutions like ISRO, and our entire country.
Because these young people do not have a past barometer to judge events. They have never seen or experienced India's past. They do not have much understanding of the world.
They simply believe India is the worst place if told like that pointing to issues that happen, easily believe everything bad only happens in India, and whatever bad happens is only because of the Govt.
This is why they are being used for regime change by the DS world over nowadays easily manipulating them using Meta platforms, Reddit, and Telegram.
And a country like India is letting them get used by creating an information and communication vacuum which can be filled by adversaries.
What I am saying is whatever communication from top levels, information on reforms, and narrative about a minister's achievements that came now, after things got bad, could have come before and on a continuous basis.
