As a strict Jain, I ordered vegetarian food (Order No. 8196001101) but was delivered fish instead. This has deeply hurt my religious sentiments and caused significant distress.
I immediately contacted customer support, but I have not received a satisfactory resolution or a full refund. This was a Cash on Delivery order, and I paid the full amount of ₹320.
The delivery partner, Pravin Bandu Naikwade, also behaved unprofessionally during the delivery and return process. Based on his behavior and condition at the time, I had concerns that he may have been under the influence of alcohol. I request Zomato to investigate this matter thoroughly.
I have been a loyal Zomato customer for the past 10 years and expected much better service. I have already escalated this issue via email on 05/06/2026 and shared all relevant details with your team, but I am still awaiting a proper response.
Requesting:
✅ Full refund
✅ Investigation into the wrong delivery
✅ Investigation into the delivery partner's conduct
✅ Accountability and a formal apology
Kindly look into this matter urgently and provide a resolution.
