He was a senior member of the party with a powerful legacy. His two terms as #Speaker of the #SindhAssembly will remain memorable, especially his characteristic wit and charisma. His loss will be profoundly felt across the province and within our party. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones; may they find strength in this difficult time and may his soul rest in peace.

My heart is heavy as I watch the disaster unfolding in #Punjab with tremendous losses. The floods have wreaked havoc, leaving families without homes, farms submerged, and lives shattered. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of #Punjab in these testing times. No one ever remembers the #Panjnad in flood as it is now. #Ravi, #Setluj, #Chenab all are overflowing their banks. What is clear is that disasters do not know country, province, religions - or any borders. The urgency of climate crisis is real and calls for us to work together.
I want to appreciate the jawans of armed forces and rescue workers who have done heroic work in reaching out to those in danger.

The U.S. bombing of #Iran has sparked widespread condemnation as an act not only violating #UNcharter but also of Trump Presidency’s promise to the #Americans of ending forever wars. It is critical to note that, despite years of scrutiny and investigation, there has been no credible evidence to suggest that Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons. Moreover the #US had initiated a dialogue on this issue and Iran was willing to cooperate. Ironically it is Israel that disrupted the dialogue killing the main negotiator. The absence of definitive proof of a nuclear weapons program raises serious questions about the justification for #USmilitaryaction.
The decision to bomb Iran not only undermines diplomatic efforts but also risks escalating tensions in an already volatile region, which can lead to a broader conflict, drawing in neighboring countries and potentially igniting a wider war. The ramifications of this aggression could destabilize the #MiddleEast further, leading to increased violence and suffering for civilians, and creating a breeding ground for extremism.
The West’s failure to address the plight of the #Palestinians—who endure occupation, violence, and systemic destruction, a modern day genocide, contradicts its professed values of justice and human rights. Many in the Middle East view the West as complicit in the suffering of the Palestinians by allowing #Israel to kill with impunity which only fuels resistance movements against the Western imperialism.
