On the debate sparked by ‘Satluj’, I see many people here asking “why Hindus have never managed to align themselves politically in Punjab?!”.
As a Punjabi Hindu I feel this is because we have never managed to see Sikhs as separate from us. We have never really understood why we have been targeted and killed by Khalistanis.
Disputes over state boundaries, river water sharing, language…were these kind of petty reasons enough to tear the blood bond that Punjabi Hindus and Sikhs shared for centuries and start a lame separatist movement?! Was it not obvious that the country’s only martial community was being weaponised against itself by vested interests?!
Is it fair to blame all Hindus for the heinous crimes of 1984 for which only one political party was responsible?!
Is it fair to bury the thousands of stories of violence and rape by Khalistanis before 1984?!
To me, the widening rift between Hindus and Sikhs is a source of personal anguish.
A Sikh brother once said to me, “Hindus and Sikhs are like a finger and its nail: They are inseparable.”
Praying that all Punjabis can see past their anger, something which they are prone to, to find love and brotherhood again, which they are known for.

Instead of outraging on a quarter of a million women being groomed and gang raped in Britain, these psychopaths at the @BBCNews, who admitted to evading tax in India, are instead outraging on one woman who claims she contracted a disease 19 years ago after her visit to India.
THE STAR CAST OF 61 INDIAN "CIVIL" SOCIETY THAT HAVE WRITTEN TO MODI-SHARIF DEMANDING AN END TO "OP SINDOOR".
None of these people have any qualms about sharing space with separatists who don't recognise the Indian Constitution or giving Pak a breather. None have written a letter calling upon Pak to "end continued hostilities" against PoK Kashmiris, Indian innocents. None.

Sarla Bhat was a nurse in Kashmir. She was abducted near her hospital, tortured, and killed in 1990. She was in her 20s at the time.
Now, after 36 years, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) in J&K has named jailed JKLF chief & terrorist Yasin Malik as the mastermind behind the case.
It took 36 years. Many Kashmiri Hindu cases are still gathering dust, with families waiting for justice even today.
In 1990, Sarla Bhat, 27, was working as a staff nurse at Srinagar’s SKIMS hospital to support her family, even as fear forced her community to flee.
On April 15, 1990, Sarla was abducted from her hostel. For four agonizing days, JKLF terrorists subjected her to brutal torture and sexual assault. When her body was dumped in Mallabagh on April 19, her killers had carved the acronym "JKLF" directly into her flesh from a knife.
The horror continued for her family. When Sarla’s bullet-ridden body returned to Anantnag, the neighborhood was already a ghost town emptied by the exodus. Marooned and helpless, the grieving family could not find enough people to carry her to a funeral pyre. As they attempted her final rites, a grenade was hurled at their home. This targeted terror forced the last remaining Hindu families to flee.
Systemic apathy followed. Though a police complaint was filed in 1990, the file was buried. It took until 2025 for a Special Investigation Agency to reopen the case, naming four terrorists. Two are dead, one is absconding, and one is imprisoned: Yasin Malik, who was once pampered as a Damaad by New Delhi, invited to the high table as one of the esteemed "stakeholders in the Kashmir peace talks." Yesterday, chargesheet was filed in this case.
Sarla’s case is not isolated. Thousands of women faced similar brutality in Kashmir during the late 1980s and 1990s, leaving behind stories that have been completely erased from the records today.
Anyone who says that the Bible is the fount of morality has not read it in its entirety. It is clearly an R rated book. Before introducing it in schools, many parts have to be snipped such as :
1. Cain kills his brother Abel out of jealousy in the Bible (Genesis 4).
2. Abraham poses off his wife Sarah as his sister and puts her in the harem of the Pharaoh while he is in Egypt (Genesis 12).
3. Lot offers his virgin daughters to a mob in Sodom for gang rape to protect male guests (Genesis 19).
4. After Sodom's destruction, the two daughters of Lot get their father drunk in a cave and have sex with their father on consecutive nights (without his knowledge) to conceive children. Both become pregnant, birthing Moab and Ben-Ammi (the ancestors of Moabites and Ammonites) (Genesis 19).
5. Abraham is ready to sacrifice his own son because God asks him to (Genesis 22).
6. Dinah is raped by Shechem, after which her brothers massacre the city in revenge (Genesis 34).
7. Reuben sleeps with his father Jacob’s concubine Bilhah (Genesis 35).
8. Judah has sex with daughter-in-law Tamar (who deceives him by posing as a prostitute) (Genesis 38).
9. The Bible says : "For the slave is his money/property," (Exodus 21:20-21).
10. Israelite soldiers can take beautiful war captives, force them to mourn, then have sex with and marry them (Deuteronomy 21:10-14).
11. A rebellious son can be stoned to death by his parents (Deuteronomy 21:18-21).
12. Phineas spears an Israelite man and Midianite woman during intercourse to stop a plague (Numbers 25).
13. God in the Bible commands for total destruction of Canaanite nations: Kill everything that breathes—men, women, children, infants (Deuteronomy 20:16-17).
14. The judge Jephthah vows to sacrifice whatever first comes from his house after victory; his only daughter greets him. He fulfills the vow and sacrifices his own daughter (Judges 11).
15. A Levite's concubine is gang-raped all night by a mob in Gibeah until she dies; her husband then dismembers her body (Judges 19).
16. The High Priest Eli's sons rape women serving at the tabernacle that serves as a portable temple (1 Samuel 2:22).
17. David commits adultery with a woman named Bathsheba and arranges for her husband to be murdered when he finds out that she is pregnant (2 Samuel 11).
18. The prophet Elisha curses and kills small children who mock his baldness (2 Kings 2:23-24).
The uncomfortable reality is that much of this problematic material is not presented as the actions of “bad people” that we should condemn. In many cases it is either commanded by God, carried out by revered biblical figures (sometimes even without any rebuke), or treated as part of God’s plan.
1. That eggs are vital for nutrition was one of the biggest fraud propaganda by Congress government. There is absolutely no science to it. In fact science hints at opposite.
It was a decision motivated by other hideous agendas than genuine concern for health of citizens. An absolute scam.
2. A vegetarian diet is acceptable to all segments of population. Why should a vegetarian child be forced to eat egg against his culture? A non-veg eating child can always eat eggs in his home.
3. Veg food has far less contamination risks. And there is nothing to prove that eggs surpass vegetarian sources of protein in any way.
There is evidence of reverse - a well balanced vegetarian diet is safer, healthier, more hygienic.
4. There are crores like me who would rather home-school their child than enrol in schools that force-feed eggs due to some outdated pseudo-science.
It is against our religious faith in many cases. Many of us have strong views against cruelty on animals.
We don't force anyone to adopt our ways. Why should we be forced to belittle our faith?
5. Why do sadists hate us. Why don't they suggest pork for Muslim kids? Why don't you invite Muslims for pork on Iftars?
After all bulk of East Asia consumes pork, shows better health than pseudo-journalists of India, and have way higher IQ than non-pork-eating meat-eaters.
6. Reason and science are not expected from nepo-journalists.
The British Army love for English, German Army love for German, Russian Army love for Russian, Chinese Army love for Mandarin has serious consequences.

The fact that people like these hold any authority in academic circles is itself the problem. In any serious country, they would not even be allowed near a stage. She openly admits that she never read the original texts and instead relied on academic papers about the Mahabharata. Imagine the arrogance of people who have not even bothered to read the text, claiming to understand it better than the civilisation that produced it.
Who are these third-rate historians who refuse to pick up the very works they spend their careers dismantling? The oral traditions of the Mahabharata and Ramayana, preserved by generations of our ancestors, have done more to safeguard their essence than these academics ever will. They approach every text with contempt, every tradition with suspicion, and every sacred story with the intention of twisting it into something unrecognisable.
Much of this scholarship is little more than ideological vandalism disguised as research. Their purpose is not to understand but to deconstruct, poison, and alienate Hindus from their own civilizational memory. A proud Hindu response will always be loud because people naturally defend what is theirs. The real failure is that we still lack strong academic institutions capable of exposing these absurd narratives and treating them with the ridicule they deserve.
Heart comes out when u hear such news.
At Meerut’s Subharti Bypass area when a 40-year-old man allegedly kidnapped a 6-year-old girl playing outside her uncle’s house and took her to an abandoned area.
Hearing the child’s cries, locals rushed to the spot, overpowered the accused, and handed him over to police after giving proper treatment.
The quick action saved the 6 Year old girl from further harm.
The accused, identified as Mohammad Mubashir, now faces strict charges under the POCSO Act and kidnapping laws.
The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh was established in 1505. Sushruta had already been performing reconstructive surgery for over two thousand years by then. His ethical framework predates the Hippocratic Oath. East India Company surgeons were still learning rhinoplasty techniques from Indian practitioners in the 18th century.
What happened in Edinburgh this week is an overdue correction to Western assumptions about where foundational medical knowledge originated.
Karna chose the wrong side primarily out of envy toward Arjuna. He was personally offered a chance to switch sides by God Himself(Krishna), who offered him the throne of hastinapura & kingship as the elder brother of pandavas but karna was so blind in his envy of arjuna & personal grudges that he refused. As for "muh kavach kundal", it wasn't some caste conspiracy trick. Karna knowingly gave his armor to Indra(disguised as a brahman) out of his virtue of dana, not some victimhood & in return received Indra's powerful Vasavi Shakti weapon. Forget academic scrutiny, your claim won't even stand up to the scrutiny of ordinary people. So keep selling your snake oil, no one is buying it
Shibu Soren took a 50 lac bribe to save the Congress govt. The case was so open & shut that a judge even ordered his bribe to be taxed. But the Supreme Court let him off as bribes came under Parliamentary privilege.
Yesterday, Mr Soren was posthumously awarded the Padmabhushan.
The Sikh Khanda evolved from Sanatan roots in the Indian civilizational matrix-
Central Khanda : Ancient Sanskrit term khadga. Durga & Kali wield it as symbol of knowledge cutting ignorance/evil — same meaning in Sikhi (truth vs falsehood).
Chakkar : Classic Chakra of Vishnu — eternity, cosmic order, oneness (Akal Purakh / Brahman). Represents infinity in Sanatan iconography.
Two Kirpans : Builds on ancient Raja-Rishi ideal — balancing worldly power & spiritual wisdom, seen in Hindu kings and dharma traditions.
The Chola Shiva Trishul (in the post) is pure Sanatan art. Visual similarity exists because Sikh symbols grew organically from shared Punjabi-Dharmic culture Vedic/Puranic martial & spiritual heritage.
Gurus refined these symbols for Khalsa — like Buddhism/Jainism did with Vedic roots — without erasing the eternal Sanatan framework.

West Bengal has rejected Hindutva,
says Amartya Sen; adds Bangladesh
is secular;
Amartya Sen’s essay published by the Bangladeshi newspaper The Daily Star is a laugh riot. He praises Bangladesh for being ‘secular’ and West Bengal for ‘rejecting Hindutva’.
“The Hindutva movement that stormed over a huge part of India over the last couple of decades did not get any serious popular response at all in West Bengal. There are many different reasons for this (including the burying of the sectarian hatchet by the force of contemporary — intensely secular — Bengali politics), but the Hindutva movement's ‘localist’ passion for claiming and glorifying indigenous roots of all Indian achievements had no significant resonance in Bengal.”
In brief, he lauds Mamata Banerjee’s corrupt, criminal and communal politics as “intensely secular”. If that’s what ‘secular’ means then it is a four-letter word. We all know why Amartya Sen supports Mamata Banerjee — she backed him on the charge of his appropriating land illegally in Santiniketan. There’s honour among…
That apart, his sweeping assertion that Bengal has rejected Hindutva is testimony to his dazzlingly brilliant mind. What more can I say?
In my humble reading of primary sources, the Battle of Haldighati was inconclusive. The Timurid sources claiming victory are no different from those of Trump.
I explain here with sources (page numbers refer to Persian texts, not English translations) why I feel so.
A battle is judged on whether the military objective was achieved and whether the commander survived. Tactical, operational, and strategic outcomes are different things.
Contemporary Persian sources leave little room for debate about the battlefield: Maharana Pratap’s army was compelled to retreat, the Rajput line broke after his withdrawal, the Timurids held the battlefield, and the battle ended with Timurid chroniclers claiming victory (Abul Fazl, Akbarnama, III, pp. 153-154; Badaoni, Muntakhab-ut-Tawarikh, II, pp. 233-234; Nizamuddin, Tabaqat-i-Akbari, p. 333).
But scholarship must not end at noon on 18 June 1576.
The real question is whether the Timurids achieved what they marched into Mewar to accomplish. The answer from the same sources is no.
Immediately after Haldighati, Man Singh did not dare pursue Pratap into the hills. Fear of ambush, Bhil attacks, broken communications, and lack of supplies forced caution. Even while occupying Gogunda, the Timurid army struggled for provisions and survived on animal flesh and mangoes because supply routes had been severed (Badaoni, II, pp. 233-234; Abul Fazl, III, pp. 153-154).
Within months, Maharana had revived his authority. He re-established himself in Gogunda after the Timurid withdrawal, restored administration through fresh land grants, blocked Mughal communications, prevented Banjaras from supplying imperial forces, and built a political coalition with Idar, Sirohi, and Jhalor (Abul Fazl, III, pp. 164-169; copper-plate grants).
Akbar then had to intervene personally.
If Haldighati had truly settled Mewar, why did the emperor march into Mewar in October 1576, establish garrisons, personally supervise operations, and attempt to surround Maharana Pratap from every direction? (Abul Fazl, III, pp. 164-169; Badaoni, II, pp. 240-242).
Even this failed as Maharana Pratap remained uncaptured.
The Timurid army repeatedly occupied territory only to lose it after withdrawing. Gogunda changed hands multiple times. Imperial posts had to be reoccupied because Maharana Pratap returned once the main army departed (Abul Fazl, III, pp. 169-170).
The same pattern continued during Shahbaz Khan’s campaigns.
Kumbhalgarh eventually fell not because Maharana was defeated inside it, but because he evacuated after provisions ran short. Shahbaz Khan entered to discover “the bird had flown” and “there was no life over which any physical conquest could be claimed.” Even after establishing nearly fifty garrisons, Maharana escaped and the war continued (Abul Fazl, III, pp. 204-205; Badaoni, II, p. 266).
Then came Dewair.
With financial support from Bhamashah, Maharana struck back. Amar Singh killed Sultan Khan, Timurid garrisons were overrun, and imperial authority collapsed in western Mewar (Vir Vinod, II, pp. 157-159; Raj Prashasti; Amarakavya Vanshavali).
Akbar was forced to send campaign after campaign: Shahbaz Khan returned, then Abdur Rahim Khan-i-Khanan, then Raja Jagannath.
Each devastated parts of Mewar but failed in the key objective: capturing or subduing Maharana Pratap (Abul Fazl, III, pp. 221, 229, 442).
