@OceanMiningHQ Thanks for referring this article. Still own a boatload of shares. Strange that the stock wasn't completely delisted. Who knows, perhaps someone will pick it up and reimagine and honor existing shares but kind of doubt it.
@AdviceNoThanks@themetalsco@ISBAHQ Yes, the 2 year rule. Was surprised that Gerrd did not push that forward. If I recall, ISA circle the wagons and claimed that it was not possible to grant a license under the 2 year rule issue since no code had been adopted to have rules to define the parameters for the license
@themetalsco While I think TMC will likely prevail, i am holding off on significant investment until dust settles on these issue. Defense of these issues could entail use of the ATM and consequent dilution given about 1 year of cash burn allowance remaining. TMC has opposition for sure.
@themetalsco TMC claims to have had extensive legal analysis of the issue of non signatories to UNCLOS. Does that mean that no one will try to hang them on it? No. But ISA got stung in the recent issue but doesnt preclude that NGOs wont and recent actions to prevent leases are present.
@ayeshaontwit@themetalsco What law are you referring to? Common heritage could certainly mean available to all equally. Only those voluntarily subscribed to the ISA are bound by the rules it has made up.
@themetalsco 2of 2. Example of a real, tangible catalyst happened today with bond upheaval and Treasury's announcement of increased bond buying. Gold and silver equities reacted rapidly and sharply today. That's real reaction to real news.
@themetalsco While you want them to push forward and going through motions is the path, the real deal with be full accepance. Has hurdles to surmount. Until then, the happy talt is reminiscent of a blue chew gold commercial. Results need to be confirmed. The bump was minimal. 1 of 2.
@themetalsco Whether deserved or not, when plans continue to delay, a question often arises in the eyes of jaded investors, but is specific to repeated raises. That question is about whether a company is mining minerals or mining investors. Cynical yes, but patience eventually gets tried.
@themetalsco All the growing pains of development stage resource/mining companies. Institutional front running is typical with good story and good potential, but can quickly wane if budgets & timelines not met. Per comments here, same are taking toll on retail as well. EIS app a small bump.
@themetalsco Same boat? As share holders we can wait as long as we like, provided volatility is tolerable. Warrants were slaughtered despite promises of optimistic news flow projections in Q1 CC moving forward. These projections were made to avoid, at that time, that warrants would not extend
@figgy1million Good sign but I think that the large investors have seen erosion of share price even in the light of apparently good news combined with several dateline retreats. Have seen all this with numerous resource stocks. Eventually they are left with a "wait for the results" mentality.
@themetalsco Not sure if the big drop in SP is due to screwing given to the warrant holders, but certainly not a good look. Think they will be any more loyal and responsible to shareholders? ATM = big, quick, dilution any time they want.
@themetalsco 2 of 2: To clarify "treated' read this. Earlier conference call addressed possible warrant extension, by suggesting that awesome upcoming news flow would render warrant extension unecessary. Well, no big news flow came, so instead of extending, they abandoned investors instead.
@AdviceNoThanks@themetalsco So how did market react to wiping out warrant holders in a noble cause to avoid dilution in the midst of lots of happy progress talk? Down 9.8% today. Miscalculation to say the least. Will see what Monday brings. If a 3 handle shows up, natives will become restless.
@AdviceNoThanks@themetalsco And, of course, don't rule out additional fully bought private placements. Also not sure how fully diluted share estimates account for ATMs when the authorized share count for them is limitless. Dilution worries over Sept warrants justify wiping them out? Really?
@themetalsco Wow, what positive effect from yesterday's CC, eliminating warrants from creating dilution. SP sinks to $4.05 in premarket
And recovered all the way to only being down about 5%. You think possibly that demolishing warrant holders could show lack of concern for any investors?
