Efficient water supply has been a far-fetched dream for Guwahatians. While logistical challenges are understood, the frequency of the same is questionable!

No water supply in Ghy’s Gandhibasti since 29 Aug. Grievance submitted but no response. Ghy Jal Board app said supply resumes on 1 Sep but that’s not been done. We invested a substantial amount of money while taking the connection. Please do the needful.

@himantabiswa no water supply since 28th of August in Guwahati’s Gandhibasti area. Grievance submitted, notification sais supply would resume on Sept 1. Nothing has happened yet.

A resident of Guwahati faced a distressing ordeal on Saturday when none of the elevators in the Kamrup DC office complex were functioning properly. The resident, accompanied by his 64-year-old father for pension-related work, was compelled to take the stairs multiple times due to the elevator malfunction. Taking to social media, the resident expressed his frustration, stating, “None of the lifts in the Kamrup (R) DC office complex are working. I am here with my father, who is a senior citizen aged 64, for pension-related work. How is he supposed to climb four flights of stairs? Kindly take action to improve the existing facilities.”
