The West Bank is heading in one of two directions: either the status quo continues, marked by incremental land grabs, displacement, and expansion, or there will be an explosion unprecedented in scale and intensity. The latter now appears more likely. For years, the militant settler movement in the West Bank has been portrayed as a collection of rogue outlaw groups and gangs on the fringe of Israeli politics and society. In reality, a broader view of the past two decades shows something very different. What has been built is an organized force, equipped with the means, protection, and logistics to carry out a campaign of ethnic cleansing against Palestinians, particularly in rural communities and towns. The objective is to push them into urban centers, strip them of their land and livelihoods, and prepare the ground for an even wider displacement campaign.
When I first spoke out about the genocide, I was one of the few voices in tech, and it came at a cost.
I faced sabotage especially from the VC class: lies, leaks, threats, and blocked investments.
It was painful, but I never once regretted standing up for the children in Gaza.
Today, the tide in tech has shifted. The truth is undeniable.
If you’ve been holding back, now is the time to speak out and call out anyone supporting or celebrating genocide. It won’t cost you much—in fact, it will earn you respect, and more importantly a clear conscious. Plus, alienating those who will hate you for speaking is a feature, not a bug.
Every day, Israel buries our children under rubble or burns them alive in their tents. Every day, Gaza screams for the world to see. And every day, the world watches, silent, as the slaughter continues.
The IDF holds a very peculiar record: if you film them they always miss the target and all those killed turn out to be civilians attacked by mistake. But if you don’t, they never miss the target and every single one killed is always a combatant. Funny how that works huh?
You are a liar to the core of your soul.
Your war is against the Palestinian people, against Palestinian children, against every Palestinian.
You destroyed residential buildings knowing they were filled with families and children.
You shot at people searching for food for months.
You starved an entire people and are forcing them, children included, to abandon their homeland.
You killed 20,000 children and left more than 40,000 orphans!
You are deliberately committing the most heinous crimes against humanity.
Hossam al-Masri, Reuters cameraman, took this heart-shattering video of himself near his destroyed house a year and a half ago. Israel slaughtered al-Masri along with other distinguished journalists and first responders today at Nasser Hospital.
Stop the genocide, war criminals.
The soldiers, officers, and ministers responsible for this and all the war crimes should be arrested and tried by the ICC.
The last sentence is the most ridiculous. You murdered and abducted journalists, medical staff, and civilians. You killed many of them with their entire families.
Don't take money from an investor you have moral qualms about because of valuable connections they claim to have. Being upstanding matters more in the long term than connections.
Mariam abu Dagga, the brave journalist and beautiful friend. A mother, a kind lady with a beautiful soul and smile.
She was killed today with Mohamed Salama and Hussam Al Masri and Moath Taha in a strike on Nasser medical complex in Khanyounis.
I kept searching the news and calling everyone in disbelief, to be sure.
I wanted it to be a mistake for Once!
I didn’t want it to be true ya Allah!
I can’t believe she’s gone.. Laith your son still needs you Mariam, you promised him to come back safe💔💔💔 But you won’t.
Live on air… Israel bombs civil defense teams as they try to retrieve the body of journalist Hossam Al-Masri, killed in an Israeli strike on Nasser Hospital.
Ongoing crimes before the eyes of the entire world.
They bomb a hospital, kill the journalists who can report it, then strike again to kill the rescue workers trying to save people. Every day is a new list of crimes.
The Associated Press did not bother to mention in their headline the name of the freelancer who worked with them.
Well, her name is Maryam Abu Daqqa and here is her photo.
Shame on you all racist media who are complicit in Israel’s crimes against humanity.
"She says 'We'll bake bread tomorrow,' even when there is no flour. She says 'The windows are broken because we wanted more air,' even though that is not why the windows are broken. She says 'The baby is sleeping,' even though the baby is gone."
