Some notes on my work ethic:
-I last voted in Parliament on 18 March, so I haven’t done my job for ten weeks.
-I’ve never held any face-to-face constituency surgeries, despite apparently having £5 million to spend on security.
-I refuse to do interviews or face press scrutiny of any sort.
-when I was in the European Parliament I had the 4th worst attendance record out of 748 MEPs.
-although I did manage to turn up to vote AGAINST plans to tackle Russian misinformation.
-I was on the Fisheries Committee but I only turned up to ONE out of 42 meetings.
-but I will of course be taking my £73,000 EU pension.
Vote Reform, get lazy, grifting, self-serving sacks of shit.
JD Vance on why Trump keeps asking crowds whether they prefer him or Marco Rubio as the 2028 Republican nominee:
“I just don't think it sounds like the president of the United States to have a televised competition for who would succeed him as his apprentice.
I just think that's not at all what you would expect the president to do."
A MESSAGE TO ALL THE MAIN POLITICAL PARTIES:
Britain has a severe litter/fly-tipping crisis - the worst in the western world. This is a rare non-party political issue, and it really matters to people all over the country. It's an issue that we can - and must - unite over. Work with us to resolve this national disgrace. Get in touch please.

If there is precisely one thing you watch today, make it this. French Senator Claude Malhuret. A microphone. And the most magnificently savage dismantling of the Trump administration ever delivered in a language they almost certainly don’t speak.
He covers Iran. He covers corruption. He covers the kind of staggering, industrial-scale incompetence that would get you fired from managing a car park. And he does it with the calm, unhurried certainty of a man who has read every page of the indictment and found it, if anything, worse than expected.
France has never pretended to like these people. But this is contempt elevated to an art form. The kind of refined, aristocratic disdain that takes centuries of civilization to produce and approximately ninety seconds to deploy.
Malhuret sounds like he is four seconds from the button. Not out of panic. Out of sheer, exhausted disgust.
Honestly? Understandable.
Watch it. Share it. The adults are speaking.

The first time Charlie Chaplin spoke onscreen, he implored the people of the world to resist the rising tide of fascism.
Nearly 90 years later, it remains a timely message.
Look, I am not a conspiracy theorist by any stretch of the imagination.
But at this point, it is safe to say that there must be a very lucrative behind the scenes deal for Trump and his circle in order to dump America’s long-standing allies and do things that are so blatantly beneficial to Russia because none of this makes America great again
Russia has a GDP smaller than Canada
The European Union has a GDP 15 times the size of Russia
There is no logical or rational or economic argument for acting in this way unless there is something else that is in play, which absolutely does not benefit Americans, but certainly does benefit the president and his people
There’s just no explaining this in any other way
Really is a tough call.
On one hand - every Nobel prize winning economist is adamantly stating that Harris has a significantly better economic plan
But on the other hand - the dumbest people I’ve ever interacted with say Trump is a good businessman
Quite the dilemma
