Another shooting - this time outside a Richmond, Virginia high school graduation.
Seven people were shot – leaving three with life-threatening wounds.
But do go on about the “dangers” of rainbows flags, drag queens and Pride Parades, won’t you.

Went to the nurses appreciation night at the #STLCards game tonight. Unfortunately when I bought the tickets, they were sold out of theme tickets. So sad! I really wanted that mug for work :(

I used to be on here all day, everyday. Now I’m lucky if I check it once a month. I do miss some of my people on here and all the conversations we used to have.
One perk of being on leave from work is all the reading I have been able to do. I have been able to finish 4 books in the last 3 weeks and I still have 3 more weeks before I return to work. I wonder how many more books I’ll be able to finish.

This tragic event in Cincinnati looks like it *may* have been commotio cordis: blunt trauma causing life threatening arrhythmia.
Blunt chest trauma during a brief window (the 30 msec upstroke of the T) wave can initiate VF. Essentially a mechanical analog to R-on-T phenomenon.
