@bulbassaurovz @PegueBuendia@sillymippy frankly i would trade all of the verisimilitude of working in food service for just an ounce of comfort, stability, and safety of an office job. i don’t want to be gritty i want to be able to go to the doctor when i’m sick
@willmenaker@TheeNelDog i think the thing that makes it interesting to me is that sorkin’s script is very much unimpressed with zuckerberg but fincher stated at the time that he admired him. it makes for an interesting (if admittedly overrated) film because of that tension
@idunnomanwhat@chiweethedog i mean maybe but the republicans provided an effective blueprint for what an opposition party might look like in the obama administration and instead of doing any of that stuff the democrats flail impotently
@screamingpickl @esjesjesj@Tom_Foolery22 i don't need the police to help i need them to file a report so my insurance company will cut me a check; an adjuster would probably be faster and less likely to shoot a dog in the process
@perspectvortex @goof_iest a keyboard is generally more efficient in terms of output, less wasteful, and doesn't penalize the students for not having great handwriting (and also doesn't force the teacher to have to struggle to read poor handwriting).
@perspectvortex @goof_iest it's because forcing the students to do something backwards and archaic is not in the students' best interests but since they are largely hopelessly dependent upon AI this is the only way to stop cheating: by force
@libsofTicToc@datboygood___@marclamonthill i think most of the people modeling their games off of kobe could be said to model their games just as much off of, if not moreso, jordan
@SpaceIsFake4 @juegosnomas even if it wasn't a very famous actor who is regularly in commercials, it is a very famous actor who joe biden has met many times and is an important fundraiser for his political party. even if we assume clooney was being self-important it's still a huge deal
